That is an excellent question. I think maybe we should have a forum that is nothing more than the idea topic for the week. No discussion, no questions, just the topic. Then the stories could be posted in with the regular short stories with a title of our choice and something on the end to identify the fact that it is the week's topic story.
We come up with the story and post it as Whatever Title we want - Topic 2/11/08. Does this make sense? Am I treading on a roller coaster with no end? Who wants to come up with the first topic? Does this mean you want to play with us Mr Neve?

I think thats the best idea, our own forum.To be honest i'm a bit stuck to come up with an idea. I have a writing book that has suggestion for writing topics.Ill take a look at it later and see if there are any good one's.

how about if, upon selecting a victim, the victim starts a new thread, topic 1, topic 2, topic 3...

upon starting the thread the first post (by the victim) on the thread is the topic... every post after that is a story. the thread sits and collects nothing but stories for 6 days (no comments) - then after seven days - it's a free for all.

i would be more than happy to pick the first story line, if you folks don't mind. if that's okay, then i will post the first topic on sunday, which will give writers until midnight saturday to throw in their stories. the next sunday, the free for all begins. i don't see any problem with stories being added after the 6 day period.

AND I BELIEVE THAT THE LAST PERSON PICKING TO TOPIC SHOULD GET TO PICK THE NEXT VICTIM. with no duplicates until everyone in the group has fallen prey to the victim status.

i would also think that i would be nice if writers DO NOT view any of the stories posted UNTIL they have posted their own.

So someone will give us a prompt on what to write and what should be in it.

I have a question: I have many stories that I started but never completed. I have an outline in my head on what will occur.

For example, I was going to write a piece back in 2006 about a WWII soldier armed with a 1928 Thompson going into a battle. A plane will come down and its propeller will fly off and go through some guy. In the end it'll be just him and a Marine, going around and identifying bodies. As the soldier finds an artillery Lugar, the Marine will be attacked by a group of zombies.

Using just his Thompson, Colt, Lugar, and a trench spike, he takes out all of them.

See, I got the main events and details of the story, but I just cannot link them together into a story. You get it, right?
