The Interactive Adventures of Dudley Duck 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago

NOTE: I've decided I'm going to tell "interactive" short stories with my soon-to-be son, Aidyn Drake. That is, he hasn't been born yet. But very, very soon. I'm going to do this like an old text game, more or less. I'm going to tell a portion of the story and then give our hero a couple of options. First person to respond to the thread with a choice will get the story going. I'm not sure where I'm going with this yet. My eldest brother did this with us other, younger siblings once and it was soo amazing to the little mind. So, now, I start--
Dudley Duck was a mallard by birth. He was an explorer by trade, that was his job. He was a brave duck, not much ruffled his feathers. That means when things got sticky, he pulled through it.
But his journey for the Crown of the King of Corinth was a whole other matter. It possibly might have been the most trouble he'd ever gotten himself into.
Having taken the advice of a local dog, a Pooch, he made his way to Mount Corinth where it was rumored that the crown lay. The mountain was covered in snow and more snow was falling from the clouds. He had some other animals that came with him, but when they saw the menacing mountain they were frightened and left him all alone.
Dudley Duck began to climb the mountain, looking for something in the snow. When he found something sticking out that wasn't a rock, he would begin to dig beneath it.
He did find something, it looked like the top of a castle or palace sticking out of the snow. He took a drink of water, being a little out of breath, and then he...
A. Turned to the right and went around behind the thing.
B. Walked straight towards the thing.
C. Stopped aways in front of it and began to dig in the snow.

He did find something, it looked like the top of a castle or palace sticking out of the snow. He took a drink of water, being a little out of breath, and then he stopped aways in front of it and began to dig in the snow.
Dudley Duck removed some snow with his shovel he had carried on his back and threw the snow to his left. He dug a second time and threw another pile of snow to his left on top of the other snow he had thrown, this time the snow fell down a little into the snow it landed on. He watched it, not moving his body at all. The snow that he had thrown then fell threw and created a hole. The snow began sinking and coming towards him and falling down to somewhere. He turned and began to run away, but it wasn't easy because the snow was deep. He felt the snow fall out beneath him and he was no longer standing on the ground; he fell and landed on a roof of sorts and then continued to slide down it.
As he slid, he could see that he was a long way up. He was sliding down the roof of a castle and heading to the edge fast. He had to think fast, because he could see that there was a city beneath the castle and that if he slid off he was going to fall a long way.
He grabbed at his belt as he slid and gripped his trusty...
A. Whip.
B. Hammer.
C. Dagger.

He grabbed at his belt as he slid and gripped his trusty hammer. He pulled it out of his belt, and rolled over onto his stomach as he slid and with his hand he slammed the back-end of the hammer down on the roof. He was trying to use the backside of his hammer as a hook, and it wasn't working. He kept sliding and the hammer was just tearing the shingles of the roof off as he scraped across the roof.
Dudley Duck felt his feet fly off the edge of the roof, then his legs, waist, his stomach, his chest. And then his beak hit the edge and then his arms came off the roof and he could feel his body falling through the air. It was then that his hammer hooked onto the edge of the roof and he stopped in midair and hung from his hammer with one hand. He looked down, he'd almost surely fallen to his death. It was a good thing he picked his hammer in the heat of the moment and not the whip, that wouldn't have done him any good at all. He's not Indiana Jones for crying out loud.
There was a window in front of him on the side of the castle tower that he was hanging from. He took his feet and placed them on the windowsill, then took his hand that wasn't holding onto the hammer and grabbed the a hold of the window frame. He pulled himself in towards the window and then unhooked the hammer from the roof and jumped into the room. He put his hammer back on his belt.
The only light in the room was coming in through the window; it was a small room. He looked around and saw a large crest on the wall that had the letter C woven into it. To his right was a bed, it had obviously not been used in a long time because of spiderwebs that had collected on it. But he could tell that when it was used it was used a lot, because there were indents of the owner's body in the mattress. In the middle of the room, there was some sort of stand with something on it, but it was too dark to see what it was...
A. Curious of the unseen object, he moved to the middle of the room.
B. He walked over to the crest on the wall, to examine it more closely.
C. He stepped over to the bed, feeling there might be some clue as to who once lived here.

[sorry it took me so long]
Curious of the unseen object, he moved to the middle of the room. He reached out with his left hand to take hold of the object, so that he could pull it into the light of the window. Just before he could grip the object, he felt the ground move beneath him as if someone had hit it from below. Dudley Duck stopped and tried not to move...
The floor opened up beneath him and he fell to the next story, but the floor was made of old wood and his body crashed through it. As he fell through, he could see lots of shiny objects and trinkets he'd love to get his hands on but since he had chose to grab at the unseen object he was now missing plenty of opportunities.
He fell through the next floor.
And then the next.
He finally stopped when his back met concrete. He laid still for a while watching the debris and dust clear above him, all from the several stories he'd just come crashing through.
He finally stood to his feet and tried, in vain, to knock all the dust off of his outfit. He looked for stairs that would lead to all the stories he'd missed, but it seemed the only way in was from up top.
Dudley Duck had his work cut out for him.
There he stood in a kitchen with a sink of sorts, a table and chairs. There was a door that obviously lead outside, since there was a window on it that peered outside.
A. He walked to the sink, to check for anything valuable.
B. He exited the door, eager to take a gander at Corinth.
C. He sat down on the ground, pulled out some playing cards and played some solitaire. He was in no hurry, he'd waited this long--it could wait a while longer. Corinth wasn't going anywhere anyhow.
