About Myself: Wesley Freeman has been writing in one form or another since his youth. He has published technical and journalistic works, but his true, and unfortunately neglected, passion is fiction. Living in New York he is seeking to emerge as a new writer in this arena. His goal is to write stories that alter our perspectives and generate both laughter and tears.

The plot twist at the end was good. However, it seemed like the emotions of the man went from complacency to rage a bit too quickly. Perhaps a bit more development of the man’s mental state would help this. Also it seemed like the question "Who do I love?" would make a little more sense if it was something like "Who will I love?" or "Who is the love of my life?" Just my thoughts.

Interesting plot twist, but I agree with the previous comments that the water heater needed a bit more of a prominent role in the story.

I enjoy the way you make the sound of the blood so disconcerting to the main character. It is a good technique used throughout the story.
