About Myself: the mysterious recipe to having your stories read: write - read - comment - rate - rinse and repeat. . .

keep in mind that if you don't take your work seriously, nobody else will either.

i'm am in the re-read, edit, repost mode. so, you're going to see some reruns - sorry 'bout that.

if you good folks find typos - grammar smackers - and format strangeness, please don't hesitate to quick message me or drop a comment...

the thing that i like the most about your particular style of poetry is the blatant honesty.

no sugar and spice - just real words and thoughts...

this is a fine piece of work, but i have to disagree on one line - according to my sweetheart, i am definitely an oddity...

missed ya!

you're not fool'n me mister. i've already read 'a ticket to tewkesbury' and you can't be trusted!!!

i'm not going to post an opinion (other than 'darn you're a great writer') - until the editing is done and the book published...

i hate being wrong {<(in print)regarding print>and you have this tendency to weave}

our wish is that as soon as you approach a vehicle, any vehicle, with a cell phone inside (turned on) their number would appear on our caller id...

i had a blast with this story. nice blend of science, philosophy, and 500 million travel trailer humor.

the whole piece from front to back was well thought out. problem, solution - problem, solution - problem, solution - no problem...

excellent.

wow john, this is a great piece of work. a few months after i found storiesville somebody pushed the zombie button and they were everywhere, so i got a little jaded with the whole zombie/infected/flesh eating phenomenon.

you did a great job of emphasis on character and personal situation rather than emphasis on
'how to kill and how to be killed by a zombie'.

wonderful story.

watership down is one of my favorite stories...

this was nicely written, although i'm thinking i'm going to go out hunting snakes with blue mushrooms for a while...

i like the message you deliver with this poem also.

i have to agree with zombie punk though...

there are many that will click away from a piece of art that has technical problems - for some it removes the flow and they are forced to READ more than FEEL your art.

you can hit that wonderful edit button and fix anything on the spot...

arsenic
i have to admit, dany, i got a little lost.

it started with an opinion of one regarding another - then suddenly went first person...

then i ran into a bit of a wall when the 'facts' in the story regarding churchill came apart.

i guess if i threw out my focus on history and regarded this as an alternate reality - it would work for me. but the opening would still be a little awkward...

Hi Tarnoggin',

I am Pollyanna, yer can call me Polly, 'Anna, or Pollyanna.
In my prime I was considered to be an enthusiastic melancholic, but anymore I'm just too fookin' tired to be effusive about anything really.

So now I'm juss a Poet.

Unless of course I'm fully rested and feeling social, then yer can generally count on me to grace any occasion with either a deep sigh, or a vague 'whatever'.

Did I mention I am still a Poet?

Aye, 'tis true.

I like Poems.
And tater tots.

Oh, and I regard yer to be a wonderful writer, yer style is cool, and yer creativity is fantastic, not to mention yer prolific, that's what's really tough sometimes.

And yer fair well enough when yer write Poetry too.

Juss don't try to rhyme without Poetic supervision.

Not all words sound the same.

Oh, and thank yer fer makin' me feel welcomed here since the first day I joined.
I do appreciate yer kindness.

Aye yer a good un.

See yer

'Anna
