About Myself: the mysterious recipe to having your stories read: write - read - comment - rate - rinse and repeat. . .

keep in mind that if you don't take your work seriously, nobody else will either.

i'm am in the re-read, edit, repost mode. so, you're going to see some reruns - sorry 'bout that.

if you good folks find typos - grammar smackers - and format strangeness, please don't hesitate to quick message me or drop a comment...

Title article: Jericho, Chapter 15
Date: 2008-09-22 01:08:20
jericho 15
MAN! that was a lot to do!

you managed to stitch the whole thing together magnificently. i was glued to the screen from beginning to end of this chapter.

i have to say that beyond a doubt, johnny was my favorite character. probably the most interesting character i have read here in storiesville.

my attention span (especially when writing) is very limited - ending this story probably would have overwhelmed me...

you did a great job!

write on max!

Title article: She Said

she said...
yep, busted again!

it's a song.

thanks for the wonderful comment!

Title article: You Can't Get There From Here
Date: 2008-09-21 20:15:42
can't get there from here
so if it's a true story...

and there were two characters...

i can only hope somebody told you this event happened!

we have sprint family locator and i have a palm - so nobody in the family can get to where they need to make a phone call like this one...

Title article: Blue Room

blue room
i started reading this on my phone while waiting for my order at dairy queen - and finished it in the parking lot. i couldn't set the phone down to drive.

i this was certainly enough to keep my eyes glued to the screen, and set aside hunger.

if this came from the blue room i'm thinking of - the difference is too large to measure.

come get your trailer
'no sir, i did not put that trailer there..."

this is a strange but true sorta story in ok and tx. leave it to an endangered species to make everything okay...

Title article: A Twilight Sky

a twilight sky
hmm...

looks like i arrived late at the party! i agree with everyone - with the exception of the depressing thoughts. i saw acceptance, but i didn't read depressing.

very thoughtful.

Title article: An Undeniable Truth
Date: 2008-09-20 15:32:09
an undeniable truth
sir matthew of carter, i have to say this a fine piece of reading. the mix of 'sanity' and the 'in' version of sanity was a very good blend.

very entertaining, with a great ending.

Title article: Randumb

ran dumb
you know, more often than not, poetry that is not direct is a real pain for me - cause i have to figure it out...

poetry that is totally indirect is a horse of a different color. offers me more latitude.

liked it.

Title article: Survival, Chapter 20
Date: 2008-09-19 14:53:12
the end
the first thing that i noticed, is something personal - and to that end i will say that i have been extremely successful.

but the most important part is about the survival project.

the most important step to a project of this nature is the setup. many times writers will find themselves up against "the rules" and their creative skill will become blunted. with this particular setup there were almost no boundaries with the exception of the island itself.

i found it particularly interesting when the writer would take the incident - then leave it and make the story about their own character - then return.

i was also intrigued (especially knowing the writing styles of all of the writers) when a writer would leave their 'signature' style and go off on another merry trail.

christian? russell? you guys are brothers from another mother. if you do nothing else in your lives - you two need to meet. just don't shake hands, we don't need an anti-matter explosion.

great job allmine & max!

Title article: Survival, Chapter 19
Date: 2008-09-19 14:42:44
jason's chapter
Hey, what are you doing with my dead body?

---------------------------

sorry max. i just gotta say this. if somehow we all get sucked into a virtual world - i think i really need to be your friend. the one with the matches.

jason, this is a great piece of work. i can see your storiesville persona and relationships splashed all over it!

I suppose anybody who can come up with tarhead mugwump can also come up with a phrase about squirrels coming from behind nuts.
I have no idea what it means.
Please elucidate......
