About Myself: the mysterious recipe to having your stories read: write - read - comment - rate - rinse and repeat. . .

keep in mind that if you don't take your work seriously, nobody else will either.

i'm am in the re-read, edit, repost mode. so, you're going to see some reruns - sorry 'bout that.

if you good folks find typos - grammar smackers - and format strangeness, please don't hesitate to quick message me or drop a comment...

Title article: Degenerates; Cocaine., Chapter 1
Date: 2008-08-17 01:05:01
i guess
since nobody else is going to say it, i will...

putting a sentence like:

And no grammrr and/or spell check has been done.

reads to most of us here:

Don't bother reading this, I didn't care enough to check my work before I posted it...

Title article: Better Day Tomorrow
Date: 2008-08-16 22:47:06
better day
i think the thing that interests me the most about this story - especially when comparing all of the stories that you have in the bucket, is that one of your multiple personalities got out.

this character is very unique.

liked it a lot. write on!

Title article: The Most Epic Story Ever Heard
Date: 2008-08-16 19:18:14
hmm...
i must have gotten lucky somehow. i pulled in the multiple personality thing rather quickly - don't see the prostitute thing.

i was intrigued by the rhythmic 'don't listen to me' thing. in a really backwards way it reminded me of a church service: first the minister speaks then the congregation responds...

enjoyed reading it

Title article: Hi! My Name Is Ping!
Date: 2008-08-16 19:13:12
yep!
i think it's funny you noticed - but really, i guess not.

when i posted this the first time, the super program spoke using contractions - and i decided that he was way to developed to stoop that low, so i removed them.

good eye max!

Title article: B
Date: 2008-08-16 19:07:10
yeah...
i've got to admit that i got a little lost in the midst of the poem.

i was actually good right up to the part where the green fluffy monkeys enter...

unless, of course, i read the last two lines first, then proceed to the top.

probably a handicap on my behalf rather than yours.

Title article: Plain Sight
Date: 2008-08-16 08:39:32
mornin!
the dialogue, i think, was a little long; still, it worked fine - given the location, and the fact that it really wasn't the meat of the story - just the white noise around the camera...

i kinda found it odd the the robby never once called the shooter by his name...

i keep typing this then deleting it over and over cause i don't know if i'm expressing it correctly, but i'm gonna say it: although robby showed a bit of true emotion regarding the paranoia and the camera - the shooters search lacked that 'oh my god - gotta find' it feeling, which undid the ending a little bit.

still a good plot, and story. these were just my thoughts as i read.

Title article: The Search for Mr. Narav
Date: 2008-08-15 21:34:01
interesting
while in the middle of writing a story about somebody becoming a smaller part of a larger thing - i found this story to be really interesting.

many probably won't agree, but that's okay - i found this to be a great story about nothing at all.

oddly, we are all looking for mr. narav and not really wanting to find him.

Title article: A moment a Light
Date: 2008-08-15 19:30:04
been there
i've been rolling motorcycles since 74, and am now in the retired (goldwing) mode...

i read the story and was fully expecting anything other than the end. i smiled when you described the scooter, and could imagine his predicament maintaining his manly status.

oddly, i have been eyeballing vespa's lately... and for some strange reason that i cannot begin to explain, mini coopers are beginning to look cool to me.

i think i need therapy.

Title article: How Far
Date: 2008-08-15 19:22:17
wow...
you know, i think these thoughts on a daily basis - but would be at a total loss trying to squeeze them from my brain through my fingers to the keyboard.

great job sir russell!

Title article: World Wide Web Cam
Date: 2008-08-15 19:19:42
takes deep breath...
POTTER!!!

i was just chasing comments and while i was rereading the comments on World Wide Web Cam - i caught the 'i can't grasp technology very well comment' and thought...

won't you a phone guy for a million years?

I suppose anybody who can come up with tarhead mugwump can also come up with a phrase about squirrels coming from behind nuts.
I have no idea what it means.
Please elucidate......
