About Myself: the mysterious recipe to having your stories read: write - read - comment - rate - rinse and repeat. . .

keep in mind that if you don't take your work seriously, nobody else will either.

i'm am in the re-read, edit, repost mode. so, you're going to see some reruns - sorry 'bout that.

if you good folks find typos - grammar smackers - and format strangeness, please don't hesitate to quick message me or drop a comment...

do you love me still
well, it only took me a million years to check back in...

what a great poem.

can you stop the trembling in my knees?

the entire piece was well done. hard not to know exactly where it was going, but had to read it to find out how it arrives...

to a writer
you work is typically very well done and very easy to read. as a matter of fact, as i read your work i had a tendency to put you in a "box" regarding style...

there is a huge difference with this piece, that really drew my attention. this poem is written in what i have always considered 'old style'. i think sir west brought that up...

in this piece you are not speaking to the stars, in this piece you have a target - which makes it possible for us to see you on the soapbox...

very nice work.

the ending and
that was pretty well done. i ran into a snag when i tried to imagine getting a king size mattress into the average american bathroom, but other than that i followed along with it well enough.

got to be the most intelligent idiot i've ever shared a home with.

also have a lab - chow mix, and she's got to be the friendliest grouch i've ever share a home with.

gotta admit phil, i saw that isbn and thought - damn, not another one!

we have had folks pop in here and pretty much use the site to sell their products; not really giving a hoot about the writers here, or the host that makes all of this possible.

as all or at least most of us aspire to print, it is a wonderful thing to watch somebody take the leap; if i wore a hat i would be tipping it to you right now.

there are things that make writers tingle... the biggest thing is seeing your name in print, having not put it there yourself. i recently was reminded of that when i found myself in the last chapter of project 30, and was reminded of it again when i read your 'acknowledgments' piece.

i wish you the greatest of success, and must require you to advise us of your book's availability. it looks like a great plot and i'll need to buy a copy, then send it to you (postage paid for return, as writers are notoriously poor)for an autograph.

Author's Note
i originally posted this story one note at a time - so reading it in one sitting might or might not undo it slightly - i'm not sure.

there is one note, Three Days Later - where his pen drops out. i hinted that the text is still legible if you use a shading technique to find it. i cheated and changed the text color to white, so if you go back and highlight the text - you can read it.

enjoy - i hope...

I suppose anybody who can come up with tarhead mugwump can also come up with a phrase about squirrels coming from behind nuts.
I have no idea what it means.
Please elucidate......
