you know - i had two imprints running throughout that story. in the first draft i overused his name - i wanted to create a strong air of arrogance - by causing readers to see 'tommy sarinson' juxtaposed with the word 'master'

much as you couldn't get alexander without the great...

so i settled on a light tommy and heavy master...

or something like that!

i went into the ebook mode, and when i reviewed this story - there was formatting language in it, and my quotation marks got turned into apostrophes. the only way i could fix it - was to delete - rewrite - and repost...

delivered like a shadowy dick tracy type on a dark street barely lit by an unforgiving street light.

all that was left was to flick the cigarette butt to the curb and walk away...

liked this one a lot. it was long - but definitely not boring.

very good flow, each line fell into the next - but was not forgotten.
