Nice. I always think with a story like this it's good technique to leave a little doubt hanging in the air. This certainly does that.

Frustrating
Nice and neat. Well told but as I indicate, being agnostic and believing no relationship is worth suicide I struggle to identify with his motivation. The impending doom and gathering bitter irony intensified in the second half of the piece after he decided not to end himself. This was handled quite well.

I liked the story. Maybe lacking the classical structure for some people but nevertheless effective. Short, sharp and thought provoking, perhaps just what it was supposed to be.
