About Myself: Well, I'm not a big fan of writing about myself. Nonetheless, here goes... I work full-time at the Missouri University of Science and Technology as a Video Production Specialist in relation to Distance Education. When I'm not doing that I'm working with our independent production company (Onyx Dragon Productions, LLC). We've filmed many short films, worked on a few TV shows, filmed one full-length film (which is still in post production) and working on my first full-length, filmed a few weddings, commercials, worked with SIDEKICK Sketch Comedy of The Skinny Improv of Springfield, Missouri and many, many other projects.

When I'm not doing those types of things, I'm usually working with church matters and when I'm not doing that I'm usually relaxing... or writing.

Writing is one of my fondest passions. Though I think I have developed better into a script writer (rather than a short story or novel writer), short stories is where I started and I still enjoy them so.

Keep up the good works, peeps.

UPDATES-- (12-18-08)
1. Currently developing chapter 6 and 7 of "The Agency" [note all stories with either "Agent" or "Agency" within title]. The story is about to blow up big and take a turn--quite a turn.

2. Developing a prequel to "Exit to Nowhere." Sure to be a scary treat, I assure.

3. UPLOADED latest addition to "Jason Richard Wright." Check out Faye.

Oh yes....
And a real-life Swiss Army Knife is a funny thing to visualize.

Amusing stuff.

I really liked this one, especially the way it came from a third-party. Excellent.

Lilly
Oh, and I don't know if anyone picked up on this or not, but Lilly is the same character from my story "The Longest Walk." I have to confess, it was sad watching her finish her course this way.

Fabulous
A fabulous work of words. Again.

This is really good stuff. I especially liked how you would occasionally add in the "I mean, come on" parts.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Keep up the good works.

If you aren't published (officially) yet, I really think you should be. But then again, who am I? YIKES. Laters. :)

I am so confused. But it's not the first time you confused me, Phil. You have a knack for bewildering me, because I can't tell if you're making up words or speaking better English than me.

I am Ozarkian after all. Grant it, I try.

Five stars
I'm giving you five stars for two reasons. For being able to actually accomplish something while doped up on Nyquil and for naming names.

It's always fun to read the stories/poems with us in it... EVEN IF WE'RE NOT ALL IN IT.

I blame it on the drugs. Actually, I really don't care... I don't want someone high writing about me, it could prove fatal.

I like to think I was the one who got the invite and said, "Yeah, right! I barely know you; you have way better friends than me." (done that before) :)

Fun read.

development
I totally see your guys' point. But knowing that I was going to go into much greater detail later, I chose to keep it short and sweet.

Later on, if it still feels shallow--I'll definitely come back and take more time with it.

I just finished the second chapter, but I haven't uploaded it yet. I need to polish the last paragraph or two. As soon as it is good to go, I'll get it up here.

Title article: Child of Balaam, Chapter 1

New/Old
I've been kicking around this story for years now. I've written some here and there, but never really gotten very far. I've developed a great deal of the story, but I'm just a silly goose who never does any thing with it.

Well, now I'm trying a new spin on it... and it's a new spin for me period. Writing a story in poetry. Let me know what you think, guys.

Title article: Some Haiku's

Haiku
Haiku is good stuff. I haven't written any in a long time. There was a space where I got on a kick of randomly inserting Haiku into my email correspondence to friends.

I've been thinking of taking up Haiku again, I really enjoy the form. It really challenges you, even if you're going for something simple.

I especially liked your first one.

Oh wow! that is soo awesome congrats to you and your wife!

Yeah, I wrote those stories a long while ago. I'm going to clean them up and maybe post them again. Since I'm learning new skills all the time, my old writing seems terrible to me when I look back on it. I guess thats just the way it works, though
