About Myself: Well, I'm not a big fan of writing about myself. Nonetheless, here goes... I work full-time at the Missouri University of Science and Technology as a Video Production Specialist in relation to Distance Education. When I'm not doing that I'm working with our independent production company (Onyx Dragon Productions, LLC). We've filmed many short films, worked on a few TV shows, filmed one full-length film (which is still in post production) and working on my first full-length, filmed a few weddings, commercials, worked with SIDEKICK Sketch Comedy of The Skinny Improv of Springfield, Missouri and many, many other projects.

When I'm not doing those types of things, I'm usually working with church matters and when I'm not doing that I'm usually relaxing... or writing.

Writing is one of my fondest passions. Though I think I have developed better into a script writer (rather than a short story or novel writer), short stories is where I started and I still enjoy them so.

Keep up the good works, peeps.

UPDATES-- (10-07-08)
1. Uploaded "He Comes Upon a Wish" chapter 2.

2. Uploaded "Lawless" chapter 1. This piece is a western, but with a different touch--it's got plenty of vampire folklore.

3. Also recently uploaded "The Fall of Babylon" chapter 2. This story is going to be amazing for me, because it's my final story in my Babylon collection. Most of my stories on here are of that collection. A great deal of my characters are overlapping in "The Fall of Babylon." For example: David Spencer, Jason Richard Wright, Morgan (from Jason's story), Johnny & Mercedes Masterson (from "NOIR") and others. I may cry by the time I finish this one, because I'll be putting away so many characters. Many I've grown to love. I know I was teary eyed when I finished "Rose's Thorn." It's hard when you know you've reached the end of a character. That's tough stuff.

Yo, what up home skillet?
This was a very amusing work. Thanks Dirk... and yes, the KFC line was great.

I took it as satire and not anything racist or serious rap... yo.

But then again, I often make fun of my own whiteness in this regard (not that I want to be anything other than what I am), but maybe my having done this type of humor before made it easier to read and get.

What's there to say? Dirk, you always right good stuff. And it was nice to get some Aussie references.

That said, we don't need no body coming up in Dirk's hood and getting all up in biznatch. Let the boy be. :)

Very nice
This is a very good beginning to what seems to be an interesting mystery.

I'm going to have to keep following this story, sorry it took me so long to get to it. I've seen the title here and there, and it's always intrigued me but I am just now getting to it.

It was a little odd, coincidentally I have a detective character named David SPENCER and another female detective named Mercedes MASTERSON that I write. It was odd seeing those two names pop up in a story not written by me, especially since your Peter Spencer was a detective. Anyway... it just struck me as ironic.

That said, good stuff.

I concur
Excellent work, again, Morgen. I liked the sentiments as well. The mind is a trip, to say the least.

Splendid
It was a splendid read. I liked the flow. There may have been changes in the flow of the poem due to styles (as others have noted), but it didn't bother me no none (double negative heaven). Bet it was a blast working on, maybe put another together, aces.

Here's me tipping my hat, bravo.

Nice
Enjoyed the poem, Dirk. And the sentiments.

Denny's
Like Zombie Punk, I clicked on it for Denny's. The Denny's in my town is kind of gross. My wife and I usually try to avoid it as much as possible. Though, its like the only restaurant that is open all night or at least really late. Lame.

Like the story, too. And good waiting on the reveal of the names.

Sorry the picture is kind of hard to see. I uploaded it to my profile, you can get a nicer look at it from there.

Trivia
1. The part in the diner is based on a true story that I will be helping to work into a script at some point.

2. The directions Rob gives Lilly on how to get to Drumright are accurate. I had driven through Drumright using these directions the weekend before I wrote this. I was on my way to Gutherie for my eldest brother's wedding. I very much liked the "look" of Drumright and the surrounding Oklahoma scenery. Thus the location for the story.

Title article: The Chat from Hell

Good...
Me likes. Good times. I use to chat back in the days... like 10 years ago, ouch... I'm getting old. Anyway, it reminded me of the mentality of teens chatting (including myself sometimes). Though, I don't think death threats were ever used in any of the chats I was in. I went into a "Titanic" chat room one time just to bash it with a friend. We got kicked out pretty fast. We weren't the biggest fans, obviously. Oh, my... those immature days--where have they gone?

...
I wrote and published all in one sitting without editing... thus the typos. Sorry. I'll fix them later.

Oh wow! that is soo awesome congrats to you and your wife!

Yeah, I wrote those stories a long while ago. I'm going to clean them up and maybe post them again. Since I'm learning new skills all the time, my old writing seems terrible to me when I look back on it. I guess thats just the way it works, though
