About Myself: Well, I'm not a big fan of writing about myself. Nonetheless, here goes... I work full-time at the University of Missouri-Rolla as a Video Production Specialist in relation to Distance Education. When I'm not doing that I'm working with our independent production company (Onyx Dragon Productions, LLC). We've filmed many short films, worked on a few TV shows, filmed one full-length film (which is still in post production) and working on my first full-length, filmed a few weddings, commercials, worked with SIDEKICK Sketch Comedy of The Skinny Improv of Springfield, Missouri and many, many other projects.

When I'm not doing those types of things, I'm usually working with church matters and when I'm not doing that I'm usually relaxing... or writing.

Writing is one of my fondest passions. Though I think I have developed better into a script writer (rather than a short story or novel writer), short stories is where I started and I still enjoy them so.

Keep up the good works, peeps.

UPDATES-- (8-12-08)
1. Just uploaded chapter 2 of "The Rolling Stone & Wicked Annabelle." Still have the itch, probably going to finish chapter 3 soon. Chapter 3 will introduce Teen Wolf... stay tuned. (that sounds soo absurd)

2. I am currently working on Chapter 2 of "The Fall of Babylon." Almost got it wrapped up, the chapter not the story.

3. Working on a prequel of "Exit to Nowhere" entitled "Entrance to Somewhere."

4. Obsessing over "Obsession."

For the comments... I'm working on the fifth installment. It's promises to be a "revealing" installment.

...
There actually is something cohesive happening in this mess of a story. I'm curious if anyone picks up on it.

And yes, I wrote this to the Muppets singing "Put the Lime in the Coconut."

Thanks, Egoist
I really appreciated the comments. I'm a big fan of ending on a thought, idea, concept or question. I find it more stimulating to the brain... and I don't mean that in a "I wonder if Mike Meyer will ever come back to terrorize us again" sort of way. :)

Just fyi.

Hmm...
Yeah, I realize the ending didn't resolve or explain anything. I was thinking of writing some more.

Trivia
Loosely based on a true story involving a good friend of ours. The true parts:

1. She was walking to her car, from a theatre and everything described about the environment is real.

2. Man following her and coming up behind her quickly, her thinking to grab her cell phone and fein a conversation with her mom (though her mom is very much living).

3. He did stand and stare at her for a moment, ridiculously close and then walk away. Then she got in her car and left.

Haven't read this yet...
But I just finished writing a story called "The Longest Walk" and came here to upload it and saw your story on the front page as I was logging in. Good grief. Irony.

Trivia
1. I was under the influence of the film "Funny Face" as I developed and described Secretary Hall. If you've ever seen the movie, consider the opening scene and musical number "Think Pink" and you will get my meaning.

2. "Flip, turn, turn, push, pivot, PIVOT!" is a reference to an old episode of "Friends." Ross, Rachel and Chandler are trying to get a large couch up to Ross's apartment. As they are trying to get the couch around the corners of the stairs, Ross is shouting out commands and gets stuck on "Pivot! Pivot! PIVOT!" Chandler then shouts, "Shut up, shut up, shut up!"

You could probably look both of these clips up on YouTube.

Oh wow! that is soo awesome congrats to you and your wife!

Yeah, I wrote those stories a long while ago. I'm going to clean them up and maybe post them again. Since I'm learning new skills all the time, my old writing seems terrible to me when I look back on it. I guess thats just the way it works, though
