About Myself: Well, I'm not a big fan of writing about myself. Nonetheless, here goes... I work full-time at the Missouri University of Science and Technology as a Video Production Specialist in relation to Distance Education. When I'm not doing that I'm working with our independent production company (Onyx Dragon Productions, LLC). We've filmed many short films, worked on a few TV shows, filmed one full-length film (which is still in post production) and working on my first full-length, filmed a few weddings, commercials, worked with SIDEKICK Sketch Comedy of The Skinny Improv of Springfield, Missouri and many, many other projects.

When I'm not doing those types of things, I'm usually working with church matters and when I'm not doing that I'm usually relaxing... or writing.

Writing is one of my fondest passions. Though I think I have developed better into a script writer (rather than a short story or novel writer), short stories is where I started and I still enjoy them so.

Keep up the good works, peeps.

UPDATES-- (12-18-08)
1. Currently developing chapter 6 and 7 of "The Agency" [note all stories with either "Agent" or "Agency" within title]. The story is about to blow up big and take a turn--quite a turn.

2. Developing a prequel to "Exit to Nowhere." Sure to be a scary treat, I assure.

3. UPLOADED latest addition to "Jason Richard Wright." Check out Faye.

Title article: An Agent's Valentine

Trivia 2
1. The diary entry that McCallum reads is the "Dear Boss" letter received on September 27th, 1888 at the Central News Agency in London. It is believed that this letter and the "Saucy Jack" postcard were written by the same person. The "Saucy Jack" postcard was referenced in "An Agent's Burial." The "Dear Boss" letter was the first letter to be signed "Jack the Ripper."

Trivia
1. Was listening to "I Heard it Through the Grapevine" as I wrote this. I was listening to the Creedence Clearwater Revival version, the one McCallum was listening to in his room. It's my preferred version, as well. Though, I also like the take on it by The Slits.

2. "Why, Ms. Vivian, what a narrow tie you wear?" is a reference to a quote by famous composer Bernard Herrmann (most known for his score for Hitchcock's "Psycho"). The quote of Herrmann's goes as follows, "Your views are as narrow as your tie." Thus referencing the narrowness of the view that all women are conniving.

Trivia
1. At "3:32", it was actually 3:32 pm as I was writing.

2. At "4:18", it was actually 4:18 pm as I was writing.

3. My family had some bad experiences with Alamogordo, New Mexico. Car broke down and such, ended up having to rent a car to get to our destination of Phoenix. There is also a Highway 666 that passes through Alamogordo. It seemed to be a fitting mention in this tale.

More to come...

Title article: An Agent's Burial, Chapter 1

Trivia 2
1. "Don’t get saucy Jack" is a reference to the "Saucy Jack" postcard. The letter was one of the many Jack the Ripper letters; it was received on October 1st, 1888 at the Central News Agency in London. Of course, the validity of the letter (as are most things regarding the case) is up for debate.

The postcard reads,

"I was not codding dear old Boss when I gave you the tip, you'll hear about Saucy Jacky's work tomorrow double event this time number one squealed a bit couldn't finish straight off. ha not the time to get ears for police. thanks for keeping last letter back till I got to work again.

Jack the Ripper"

2. I wrote this while listening to the "Peter Gunn" theme by Henry Mancini. "Peter Gunn" was a TV series that followed the adventures of a private investigator played by a young Craig Stevens (better known as J.R. Ewing in "Dallas").

Trivia 1
Robert McCallum is a mix of ROBERT Culp (of the old spy series "I Spy") and David McCALLUM (of the old spy series "Man from U.N.C.L.E.").

"It was sleazy, dirty and a flashing nuisance" is a reference to Henry Mancini's "Flashing Nuisance" from the "Touch of Evil" soundtrack, a film by Orson Welles.

"A radio on the table by the window quietly spoke of bookends and old friends" is referencing the Simon and Garfunkel song, "Old Friends." In the chorus it states, "Old friends set on a park bench like bookends."

Oh wow! that is soo awesome congrats to you and your wife!

Yeah, I wrote those stories a long while ago. I'm going to clean them up and maybe post them again. Since I'm learning new skills all the time, my old writing seems terrible to me when I look back on it. I guess thats just the way it works, though
