About Myself: My love for writing
Emcompasses the
Deepest of thoughts
Beyond the realm of
The conscious.

I see through my
Own eyes as they
Pierce through the
Mirror that binds
Me from myself,
Separating the life
That once bloomed
Within me.

Oh, where did it go?
I have found it...
In my pen.

Hello, my name is August. I'm eighteen. I am fond of cemeteries because I think they are beautiful. I also loves woods and natural surroundings. I hate mosquitoes and gnats, not that I think there is someone that likes them. I've been told that I have somewhat of an atmospheric tone to my writing, like missing key points that make it confusing, mysterious, and weird. I'm not so sure myself, though. I omit a lot of necessary sections in my writing (because I am constantly idle, of course), hence the name "Eclipsis" which means "omission or suppression of parts of words or sentences." As another treat, it sounds like "eclipse" and I love astronomical terminology. It was a delight to have come up with that name, though I most certainly experience pleasant flashbacks when I recall my previous pennames. I am undecisive, I've perhaps changed my penname around 3 times within one month. I hope I haven't confused anyone with my quirkish behavior...

Thought you might want a signing in here.

I really enjoy your stories, they're very unique. I really can't wait to read all of them, and once I'm done, I know I'm going to want more. You're an excellent writer and your imagery is outstanding.

Great poem! Of course, I'm a little tired at the moment because of the recent move to a new house (it's too big!). But, despite of that, I could still sort of follow you. I got the gist of it, and I thought is was good.

I think it was really nice until the last line. I THINK that's what Phil was refering to, but I'm not sure. "While others are made for rejection" is a little too blunt. I think you could rephrase that to make it into a more interesting, deeper and thought-provoking statement. Other than that, I thought it was nicely done. The imagery at the beginning was fantastic!

Pretty nice work. I liked your picture, it really gives an atmosphere we can all relate to. Awesomely done! Great poem.

This poem was very thought-provoking. I like poems that linger on after you read them and sort of force you to continue thinking about them. Brilliantly done!

Beautifully written. This is definitely going into my favorites. Oh, and btw, nice font and color you have for the letters. That was very clever.
Very well done.

Hahaha, the ending totally tipped me off! That was pretty creative, I must say. Lol. Just like Kasi elaborated, I wonder how that might have happened.

Hmmmm... I must admit that you kept me reading through the whole thing. Although the story wasn't that clear, it WAS quite creepy. A reference to "them" and the "things" really preserved the nature of the enemy and thus made this story even more spine-tingling.

This was a beautifully written poem. I have always loved the Irish scenery and landscapes. They are oh so beautiful. I liked how you brought that feeling out. It was wonderfully done and left me with a cool feeling.

I absolutely loved the topic. The title was awesome and the poem was wonderful in itself. Your language is gorgeous and that picture is pretty creepy in itself. Wonderfully done! Beautiful work.

I liked it a lot. And I know that you don't necessarily need to understand a poem. It was very well written, I must say. You used a lot of vocabulary (something I lack) and your choice of words was rather beautiful.
