About Myself: My love for writing
Emcompasses the
Deepest of thoughts
Beyond the realm of
The conscious.

I see through my
Own eyes as they
Pierce through the
Mirror that binds
Me from myself,
Separating the life
That once bloomed
Within me.

Oh, where did it go?
I have found it...
In my pen.

Hello, my name is August. I'm eighteen. I am fond of cemeteries because I think they are beautiful. I also loves woods and natural surroundings. I hate mosquitoes and gnats, not that I think there is someone that likes them. I've been told that I have somewhat of an atmospheric tone to my writing, like missing key points that make it confusing, mysterious, and weird. I'm not so sure myself, though. I omit a lot of necessary sections in my writing (because I am constantly idle, of course), hence the name "Eclipsis" which means "omission or suppression of parts of words or sentences." As another treat, it sounds like "eclipse" and I love astronomical terminology. It was a delight to have come up with that name, though I most certainly experience pleasant flashbacks when I recall my previous pennames. I am undecisive, I've perhaps changed my penname around 3 times within one month. I hope I haven't confused anyone with my quirkish behavior...

It can be quite a challenge to be young. I just turned eighteen myself, but I don't really care whether I get a man or not. It just depends on the person, I guess. When I'm down, I write. It really soothes me out.

Hmmm...Phantom pain, eh? That's a very interesting wway to put it. Anyway, I think this was well done even though it was pretty short. It was strong and very relatable. Great job!

brilliantly done! I think you did an excellent job, for sure. I hope you'll continue writing, since you are getting better and better each time I read!
Great job!

From the very beginning of the poem, I felt drawn into it. I believe it was your style of writing, but it may also be the subject matter. I think this is truly something many of us can relate to.

Very uplifting! Many times, it can be pretty difficult to write uplifting things in poetry, as it is quite often that people create cheezy ones. However, I felt that, nevertheless, you were able to create something I would think as a great example to those who wish to write something uplifting and yet rich. Great job!

Very lovely combination of words. Although I wasn't necessarily fond of your style, I still felt as though it was very well written. Keep on writing!

Hi, Anna! This was brilliantly done and I felt that I was able to relate to it. How often does it seem as though we are tormented by the thoughts that scurry about in the most complex ways and prompt us to the chase them? It does feel sad that it becomes hard to remember the times in which we can pace ourselves and slowly observe the beautiful things of this world.

I thought this was brilliantly done! The imagery was superb! I absolutely loved it. This is the type of poem I love. Confusing, yet it gives the right feelings to the atmosphere, making it unique. Imagery is always very important and the more complex that imagery is, the better.

I agree with Zombie Punk. Your poem does have a nice rythm to it. I like it quite a lot. Nevertheless, I felt as though you repeated the first phrases quite too often. I would suggest that you, at the end, try to twist that whole phrase and to give it a sense that it ended. You're poem felt like it was cut off in the middle.

Title article: Imagination Encircles The World

I thought this was brilliantly done! I, myself, being a musician, was able to relate to all this. Playing classical music isn't play. It forces you to face emotions hidden deep within you that you do not want to come in contact with. I'm sure there are many people who feel that way. Music is the purest form of expression and it exists in all cultures and perhaps even within the animal kingdom as well.
Any way, the imagery was absolutely wonderful. That is truly how a poem should be.

Thought you might want a signing in here.

I really enjoy your stories, they're very unique. I really can't wait to read all of them, and once I'm done, I know I'm going to want more. You're an excellent writer and your imagery is outstanding.
