About Myself: My love for writing
Emcompasses the
Deepest of thoughts
Beyond the realm of
The conscious.

I see through my
Own eyes as they
Pierce through the
Mirror that binds
Me from myself,
Separating the life
That once bloomed
Within me.

Oh, where did it go?
I have found it...
In my pen.

Hello, my name is August. I'm eighteen. I am fond of cemeteries because I think they are beautiful. I also loves woods and natural surroundings. I hate mosquitoes and gnats, not that I think there is someone that likes them. I've been told that I have somewhat of an atmospheric tone to my writing, like missing key points that make it confusing, mysterious, and weird. I'm not so sure myself, though. I omit a lot of necessary sections in my writing (because I am constantly idle, of course), hence the name "Eclipsis" which means "omission or suppression of parts of words or sentences." As another treat, it sounds like "eclipse" and I love astronomical terminology. It was a delight to have come up with that name, though I most certainly experience pleasant flashbacks when I recall my previous pennames. I am undecisive, I've perhaps changed my penname around 3 times within one month. I hope I haven't confused anyone with my quirkish behavior...

Hehehe. I wanted to be a part of this, but I guess I'll have to wait for next time. Still, I think I'd be no good for this. Hmmm...I wonder...can it be a story I already posted? Haha, I'm too afraid of the enormous talent this thing must require.

Lol
Your poems are so amusing. You make my day :)

Haha, they named her Jane. I don't know why I laughed at that. It was just so random and yet really suggestive that they found her real name to be unsuitable.

Yes, originality is getting quite rare. I believe it's because we come into contact with one another too often and that the media is affecting us too much. If you want something original, listen to someone who has lived an isolated lifestyle, like a hermit or something like that. I wonder what that would be like...

And yet it is so strange that we actually enjoy listening and reading the same type of stuff over and over again.

Humans are surely strange an intriguing beings.

While this was well written, be careful of what subject matter you use to put your point forward. Religion is a very sensitive subject and when placing your main focus onto it, it may be difficult to communicate to those who are not of your faith.
When writing poetry for this website, try searching for something we can all relate to as human beings. That way, it would be much easier to be able to communicate.

Title article: Satan Called Me To You

Very Deep
I thought it was very deep indeed. Absolutely well done!
Though I have one word of advice, you could work on the flow. Each line seems a little too long and draggy. If you could cut these lines into smaller pieces and work on placing them in positions that would make them more dramatic, that would be nice.

Title article: Panhandling Scum

It was very straight forward, which I actually like. It's actually pretty hard to pull off writing straightforward, but you did a very nice job.

It really feels like you meant it. Loved it, really. But maybe you should change "once" to "ones". Other than that, I really liked it.

I really liked the layout you used. It makes the poem feel like it's really growing and gives it a rising feeling. Greatly enjoyed it.

Title article: The Predator 1 -- A Haiku

I'm sorry, but I'll have to disagree with Phil. Having had contact with the Japanese culture (my mom's japanese), I can tell this is exactly how a haiku should be written and it actually expresses quite well through that culture.

In the Japanese culture, the more vague you are, the better. Being straight forward isn't a virtue there. It's really different from here.

Title article: HANK & BROADS.

Yeah, it's very Terry Collett-y. I liked it a lot. The subject matter, I must say, was very interesting indeed. Loved it.

Thought you might want a signing in here.

I really enjoy your stories, they're very unique. I really can't wait to read all of them, and once I'm done, I know I'm going to want more. You're an excellent writer and your imagery is outstanding.
