About Myself: My love for writing
Emcompasses the
Deepest of thoughts
Beyond the realm of
The conscious.

I see through my
Own eyes as they
Pierce through the
Mirror that binds
Me from myself,
Separating the life
That once bloomed
Within me.

Oh, where did it go?
I have found it...
In my pen.

Hello, my name is August. I'm eighteen. I am fond of cemeteries because I think they are beautiful. I also loves woods and natural surroundings. I hate mosquitoes and gnats, not that I think there is someone that likes them. I've been told that I have somewhat of an atmospheric tone to my writing, like missing key points that make it confusing, mysterious, and weird. I'm not so sure myself, though. I omit a lot of necessary sections in my writing (because I am constantly idle, of course), hence the name "Eclipsis" which means "omission or suppression of parts of words or sentences." As another treat, it sounds like "eclipse" and I love astronomical terminology. It was a delight to have come up with that name, though I most certainly experience pleasant flashbacks when I recall my previous pennames. I am undecisive, I've perhaps changed my penname around 3 times within one month. I hope I haven't confused anyone with my quirkish behavior...

I enjoyed this a lot. Brilliantly written. I don't know why, but that image of jumping of the horse still lingers on in my head.

Loved it!
I like how your writing has a tint of the Victorian humor in it. The language is very eloquent and yet the subject matter very light. Very much enjoyed. Your vocabulary is impressive as well.
I liked the names. Lol.
The descriptions were very matter-of-fact and added on to the humor there.
Also, since your poem really shows that you take your poems seriously, it really helps the readers to ground into them and allow them to get into the poem. Wonderfully done!

I have never been one to be good with rythming poems. I found this to be very well done. It was very beautifully written and was had a wonderful flow to it. I loved it.

Lol
Lol! I laughed really hard. I wonder why. It is as though there is this spontaneous innocence and yet humorous blackness in your poem. Very much enjoyed.

Title article: Long Nose Boy

I once read a Japanese legend of a boy who had a drum that would your nose longer. He used it on a princess. The princess' parents had all sorts of doctors work on her nose, but nothing could be done. Eventually, the boy came with the drum and fixed it. In gratitude, the parents offered to have the boy marry their daughter. He accepted the offer and so they were wed soon and lived happily ever after. Sorry, your poem reminded me of this story.

I thought your writing style was very interesting. Well done!

Lol. I found it to be funny. But, I still felt as though it could have been longer. Then, I would probably be rolling on the floor, laughing my head off.

Title article: WHY must I write

Excellent. It's something that we, as writers, struggle with all the time. It's a battle between the pressures from the readers (which, unfortunately, my parents think are the most important) and the pressure from within to be honest in your expression (which I believe is the most important). There are so many people who criticize something for not being uplifting or for not being a good influence, but I have to say that if it is true to your heart, do it! Write what's important to you and not what catches more attention (I have to stop doing this) and it's good, it's all good.

Title article: I am alone - the poem, read this before the story

I felt that it was a little too blunt in a way. The last line left me feeling as though it wasn't finished. "I know you're scared of me" didn't seem much like an ending.

Thought you might want a signing in here.

I really enjoy your stories, they're very unique. I really can't wait to read all of them, and once I'm done, I know I'm going to want more. You're an excellent writer and your imagery is outstanding.
