"as the sea and sky continue to deny one another"--thought provoking line, 'Anna.  
 
This poem is very easy to visualize; you've painted quite the detailed picture. Also, good job with the second to last stanza. There's something about it that i really like. I don't know, maybe it's because I think the word 'alas' should be in every poem. I do not know.  
 
Anyways, good poem full of great lines, such as "just the beautiful unity of elementals". Great stuff for sure.  
 
Glad to read another magnificant poem by you. I'm already jonesing for my next Polly-etic fix.

Got to the sentence "and the small matter of the flying monster that circles her" and thought, 'damn, already read this one once upon a time ago'. Reread it again, nonetheless, and it seems some minor things have been changed. It reads a whole lot better than the original. You know, I really like these types of stories (the Pugswallow one is my favorite, though) and I hope you continue to post more on here. You're quite talented, especially when it comes to the fantasy genre.

What A Beautiful Day
Brutal take on life, but a very realistic one. So true, nearly everyone is like this. It's like all these disasters are just the halftime show between the new romantic comedy movie on TBS. Pretty sickening, isn't it? Whoa ... i was about to turn this into a three-boxed rant. Better stop now. Anyways, though, this story was really easy to visualize. You described Stan's actions greatly and the decriptions of the images on the television were beyond moving. All in all this is a pretty good story.

Ha! Man, what a great ending. I was digging the story, thinking it might be like "Room 1135" (and it kind of was, in a way). I really enjoyed the humor in this. The thought of him going between walls and saying 'heaven, hell, heaven, hell, heaven, hell' made me smile. Also, the ending......now, that was just great. It actually made me blurt out 'HA!' Just that one ha, mind you. Anything else would have been forced. Uhh, okay, I don't know where I'm going with this comment. Anyways, good short story, Sir Mugwump.

The Three Women
This reminded me of a afterschool special or an old public school announcment (PSAs). I actually liked it quite a bit. In each one of the girls' stories, I wanted to keep reading about their life, but then I got hooked into another one of their lives. Hooked on Pregger-Phonics!  
 
Very compelling work I must say. The most powerful line, in my opinion, is: 
 
"She wasn't coming back to a place where her own mom didn't believe her about what her sick twisted husband did to her daughter every night." 
 
Also, I like your ending, except that I think it's too soon. I think what's missing here is the lack of details. Just do a little expansion on this story and I'm sure it'll be top notch. 
 
Good work nonetheless, though.

Yeah, I agree with C.R. Vard, it might be better if you added a little more in it to show more of Jake's characteristics, but even if you don't this is a pretty good story. It's dark, but funny. It's dark humor, a black comedy in my eyes -- as well as the cat lover's, too, I guess. I liked this one a lot. Great job!!!

This reminds me of my 8 yr old nephew, loves to plays with 'barbie dolls'. He also loves to take their clothes off ..... cheeky bugger. Anyways...nice little rant. Not particularly my style but I still enjoyed it to some extent. Good job.

Oh yes, I was not disapointed. Great ending(?) you have here, sir. This was hands down the best installment of the series. I liked how each one with more and more back to the past. Also, this was detailed greatly. A couple typos as well but no big deal. Like Resistance Is Freedom already said, Jason kind of gives me the creeps -- especially the version in this chapter. Great character development! Will read more if you ever decide to write another. So, till then ........

Wow. That is extreme.

I think I saw it fucking YEARS ago but I don't remember much about it. Maybe I'll rent it sometime. It's crazy the clerk at LSD (Lincoln Sound & Disc) gave us our last six movies free along with some used cds. Its cool getting free shit. Hey Max, give me a dollar.

Yeah they got some good stuff. Black Christmas is a good one. They already remade that one.
