About Myself: Reginald Levi Walker was born in rural Perry County in Alabama to the late Rev. R. Leon Walker, Jr. and Janie Mae Ward on July 9, 1964. He is the last of three children from this marriage. Reginald or Reggie, as he prefers to be called, was educated in the all black school system of rural Perry County. Reggie tried to excel at all his studies in School. He held memberships in the National Junior and Senior Honor Societies.

In 1981, he moved to Miami, Florida to live with his mother. After graduating from American Senior High School, he enlisted in the U. S. Army. However, because of the call to preach and the tremendous preaching tradition in the Walker family, Reggie soon found himself preaching instead of fighting wars.

The first influence to preach came from his grandfather, Rev Walker, Sr. At the age of nine, Reggie accepted the call to preach at Greenleaf Baptist Church in Alabama. After discharging from service in 1985, he studied under his father and other ministers in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. He was licensed to preach at St, John A.M.E. Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma ordained an elder at Bethel A.M.E. Church in North Little Rock Arkansas and educated at Shorter Junior College in Arkansas.

Reggie first pastorate was at Derrick Chapel A.M.E. Church in Van Buren, Arkansas. Since then, he has pastured many churches in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, and Oklahoma, He now resides in Red Bird, Oklahoma and pastors Vision of Hope Church, Inc. He works to encourage children of God everywhere to stand up and be the mighty men and women of God. His favorite saying is I am blessed just to be alive.

Reggie knows the importance of each day since he has been living with an incurable disease since 1987. However, he firmly believes, if he lives God get the glory, and if he dies, God gets the blame. He gave his illness to God along time ago and refuses to worry about it anymore.

Good work
A sad ending. The story held my attention. The ideal of dying because of and finally with him love is a heartfelt image of the length love will go. Good work.

That was a very well written story. I enjoyed the plot. Erasing people and changing their identity has always been a good plot to build from. However, build up around the srrounding to make the storymore vivid.

Title article: One Day
Date: 2008-12-24 18:20:16

This simple poem reminds me of one i read earlier today. The meter is well. The repution of the main idea dtands out as the drawing point of the poem.

I liked it

That was an interesting story
I enjoyed the story very much. the plot was good how ever the story line lost som punch in the end. Nevertheless, it is still a good write.

Title article: Smooth
Date: 2008-12-24 18:06:36
Verry intense poem
That is some very intense imagery. The short length help to highlight the overall message. The meter was slightly off nevertheless, it continued to flow and evole into a good poem.

Title article: How Many Ways
Date: 2008-12-24 17:57:38
A Standing ovations
Please excuse my loud excited declaration,
Nevertheless, MY GOD, you are good.
God placed upon your mind, his inspiration,
You wrote them down as best, as you could.

You delivered the words of your poem with so much passion,
God painted you a picture so vividly clear.
Your love and your emotions just flows from your imagination.
Your words often express the things I hope to hear.

Please continue your words to write.
Faithfully, listen to everything that God has to say.
Think over every word until they come out right.
Your words just might brighten up someone’s day.

As always, may God bless each of us,
Pastor Reginald Levi Walker

Title article: How's My Driving?
Date: 2008-12-24 17:48:11
Short and to the point.
The guy driving the truck was the one taking the complaints about the bad driver. Good idea if it would work. Have your phone number pasted on your rear bumper, and if you drive bad, someone can call you up. I think road rage would really increased. LOL

Title article: Jack the Farmer part 1 of 2
Date: 2008-12-24 17:39:58
Nice work
The story plot is nice and the characters very believable. However, it need an extra punch to carry it over that hump into the realm of best. Keep writing and I will keep reading.

As always, may God bless each of us,

Title article: Farmer Jack part 2 of 2
Date: 2008-12-24 17:34:09
Job well done
With the words, you say, some might not quite agree.
However, the words you say are your story to tell.
Only you can tell your story the way that it ought to be.
The way you tell your story is what makes it sell.

I enjoyed the ideal of a two different view point on the same story. Third story should be what really happened.

As always, may God bless each of us,
Reginald Levi Walker
