I agree with Ruby Whispers, in that I hated it because it is so very true of most people, growing out of their imagination. Money and power? Maybe a case of replacing one bogeyman with another :)

I must admit that I got a lil lost here, but the overall image, its about a suicide right? someone dear to you. its beautiful written, maybe a lil more work on the flow? Nice read though :)
