About Myself: over 3000 songs written (I'm the song writers equivalent to Mc Donalds) Hundreds of poems written as well. I'm trying to learn to write short stories. Not all, but most of them are about my childhood. Any comments, ideas or criticism would be greatly appreciated.

A HOWLING
good time! I never dreamed I would em bark on such an adventure as this. Poetry written by a dog. Who'da thunk it? What gets me is it's better than my poems. Please don't take offense to that.

NO DON'T STOP!!!
You can't just sto-op! Junior has witnessed his family being eaten by reptiles and now he's in a small, dark and cold box on his way to Cobra High. He had just learned to become a ma-an! You can't just end it right there! He's gonna get away right? RIGHT? Atleast put "part 1" at the top and "to be continued" at the bottom.

Please?

EXCELLENT
very cool! you took what should have really been a story and made it a poem. I do that from time to time. Thanks for the interesting, fun read.

this has a lot of excitement in it! the change of seasons and the changing love went well together. it's visual and emotional. if it were my poem and i nit picked away at it, like i tend to do, i might consider it winter in the second stanza. That part of the poem made me feel more like winter than spring. But if it's nonfiction then....... never mind. Either way, i enjoyed it very much!

tion. Sounds like the day before Christmas? Or the day before your birthday? Or the day before a day that was to be a wonderful day? None huh? oh well just a thought. This "For my affections for tomorrow Last only for today." is a wonderful line! I mean it's obvious but never thought of in that way. Well I never thought of it in that way before. My thinking is more like "Dang today will you EVER get over and give me tomorrow? Because tomorrow is another day, much like today, only different. Better, better I hope! The day yesterday gave me today just sucks! I wish it were Christmas. If it were Christmas, that would mean New Years day is right around the corner. New Years day, now THAT'S a day to beat all days! Number one day on the list I'd say. A day to remember that New Years day is. I remember a News Year day when I woke up in the back of my friends 1972 Cutlass. I was freezing. I had nothing on but my socs. There was a girl in there with me. We were in an empty parking lot behind a

Now I feel bad, let me make it up to you
ya guess he'll delete it? (If he doesn't, I bet his Mom will?)

Alfred still lives with his Mother.
Was thrown out by most every other.
But he will biggie size
your burger and fries.
And rate what you write with "OH BROTHER!"

My new buddy Alfred
has got a big nose.
They say it's from swilling tha rum.
Ask what 'e thinks and 'e'll bellow "LIFE STINKS!
Me timber's as small as me thumb!"

Alfies's a bit of a player.
Every man here wants to lay'er .
But I'm offing the lid
on poor ol Alfred.
She's not a gal and she's a gayer.

There once was a girl from Nantucket,
who sold oysters from a tin bucket.
Her man he sold corn,
and some says it's porn,
cause he eats hers raw
while she shucks it .

I married a girl
who had a strange way.
She screamed nursery rhymes during sex.
I stuck in my thumb,
pulled out a plum,
and very soon made her my ex.

Okay so the last one's not a real limerick. But then neither are yours Alfred. :-)

writing songs
to me is like painting a portrait. i TRY to display a quick glimpse of the frozen vision in my mind. i TRY to disply that to the listener. I've been writing songs since i was a teen. i've written over 3000 songs. a very small number of them have reached the visual plateau i strive for. You my friend seem to do it naturally. this is a very detailed and colorfully painted portrait. thanks again for taking me there and dropping me off for a quick visit.
