About Myself:

Terry Collett has been writing since 1971 and published on and off since 1972. He has written poems, plays, short story and short novels. He is married with eight children and eight grandchildren. His work has been published in magazines and anthologies on-line and off. His main ambition is to have a book of his stories and poems published.

If were blind(God forbid)yours would be amongst the poems I'd love to be read to me day in day out. There is such merit in these lines that I am going to say: I LOVE THEM.

PC always smacks of facism by the backdoor. Some faceless jerks dictating the new correct line. But enough of that. It's the poem that counts and this poem does count. (Bukowski would have loved this) It has that good layout, that word for word punchiness, that feel of damned honest good feeling about it. Classic in my book.

You get a feeling in the back of your neck when a good poem comes in sight. i have it now. punchy poem. existential in spirit; honest in each word and phrase. Superb.

This poem was not written in chilled blood or artistic cleverness; it was almost torn from each aprticle of the person composing word by word like pinpricks and sctraches. Darn good.
