About Myself: Discovered the bug for writing after helping my daughter do a homework assignment where she had to write a story of some 1000 words. After I was finished with it(daddy's lil girl)I gave it to her to take to school.

Live on the east coast in the good ol USofA.

I like to read, so I should get around to yours eventually.

I think the dog was Lassie. Your stories seem to be just stories(nothing that grabs you)not that thats a bad thing. This was a neat story with not much going on. Kids late, kids lost, mysterious dog saves the day. No background or character build up.

Title article: At The Cross
Date: 2008-09-01 16:17:56

Im curious as to how Dr. Lucifer would comment on this. This was simple in nature for the most part. But not a bad lil cross.

Title article: I prefer Mom but I'll settle for Dad
Date: 2008-09-01 16:15:34
wait till your father gets home
I thought this was a neat poem, great idea. Through the eyes of a 2 year old. Dads are always(most of the time)the easy one, the linient one. Most dads also are the pure junk eaters like a kid would be. You had the right idea, and with a few different angles, this would be awesome. Gave it a 4.

Title article: "One Dark Night"

quilty as charged
This was long but I had to keep reading to find out what would happen. I was disapointed with the end, I was expecting them to be involved somehow and got away with murder. The story laid out well with all the procedings but it just left me saying...ah man.

This story is (quilty)pun intended, of leaving the reader disapointed for a better ending.

Title article: Birdie and Me

ahhhhh
Gosh this was sad. Can I buy you a puppy dog or something...I mean, put your mom on the phone. This was good and I liked it. So short and sweet with a bit of sadness and happiness thrown in. Were all loved and would be missed. Good job.

Title article: those parkview evenings
Date: 2008-08-30 17:10:52

This poem seemed a little force, like almost to deep in meaning. It was hard for me to understand what you were trying to say.(im not a deep guy...love limericks) It probally is really good, but im not sure what your saying.

Title article: MY DAUGHTER. (Healer of the world . 2008)
Date: 2008-08-30 16:34:08
hand me a hankie
Could not imagine being seperated from my daughter. Sometimes children are the glue that hold marraiges together. But then is a forced marriage ever good. This is a wonderful poem of being reunited.

Title article: back home road
Date: 2008-08-30 16:14:36

Are you John Boy? lol. This reminded me of the Waltons. Thought it was a very good poem though. Really well written and I understood its meaning.

i've gotta say, cause i'm funny that way, i really miss your other stories.

i, as you know, am blessed with adhd - which means that i have a very fast refresh rate. i used to really enjoy popping in on your page and rereading your work.

although your stories now are no doubt very well written and it is very easy to see that you have matured as a writer even in the short time you have been here - i really miss the whimsical side of russell.

i know it's a total pain, believe me, i'm still trying to slide my old stories back on my page - but i sure would love to see your old stuff back here again.

that's all - carry on!

and write on!

hey! puting bags over your head is a very dangerous habit! even paper like the kind you have on yours. why? well termites live in those things and they might mistake your head as a chunk of wood and have a feast upon your flesh. that was what happened to capone, after all.
