About Myself: I grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of Northwestern Pennsylvania. Fresh out of high school, I had a desire to experience the world so I enlisted in the U.S.A.F. Ten years later, after seeing nearly all of Europe, I left the military and returned home to my family. Settling in New Kensington, which sits along the Allegheny River roughly 15 miles north of Pittsburgh, I returned to college.

Graduating from Penn State in 1992, I began my career in Electrical Engineering. I still work as a Senior Electrical Engineer for a firm in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. However, my true passion is writing. I began writing in 1985, starting with the novel “The Medallion”. This tale sits unfinished as I shifted in 1988 to the first installment of this series “Realm of Shadow.” Both are epic tales of dark fantasy.

My work is not limited to fantasy; I loves horror, supernatural thrillers, and sci-fi. My true love is within the realms of horror and the supernatural. I believe my mind is a scary place to traverse, even for me at time. However, I allow some dark visions free reign when it comes to storytelling and of course Halloween decorating.

I have the tales “Spooky Hollow” published in “Tabloid Purpose IV”, "The Cathedral" published in "Deliver Us From Evil", and I am currently working on expanding my macabre short story collection and continuing on my novels.

I currently live in New Kensington PA with my wife Tammy, three children Elora (18), Shaylon (17), and Sebastian (10), and our Husky Luna (3).

Poor Comments
I agree, I was left with a crappy resident evil (which this tale does not resemble in my opinion) and another on where she stopped after the first sentence, what da &(##@, what kinda review is that.

To all who have read and comment, thank you, and I'll fix the errors (though my grammer is worse than my 10 year old sons :) )

Wow
I really liked this. Goes to say that Horror comes in many forms. Her horror was what the act had done to the others she loved. This is a gripping and chilling tale that sends a powerful message. Well done...
Though I wish Storiesville format would have left it in paragraphs for easier reading.

Okay, but CAPS?
Well, I must agree with Lemon. Too much detail, so early. Save some to fill in other sections. Also, leave some the the readers imagination. You paint a picture, let us fill in some of the detials.

The CAPS make it almost impossible to read and harder to edit. Why is it in CAPS? That is not a standard format.

Some spelling errors and grammer issues, but again, I would rather re-read this in regular Font to get a clearer picture.

Classic
This indeed is in the style of a classic ghost tale. Well done. A few gramatical errors here and there, but nothing that hurt the flow too terribly bad.

I've been working on a novella similar to this...

Again, well done.
