About Myself: Just another average american doing the best that i can.

I plan on posting more short stories in the future, but for now I’m working on some stories for various contests, and beginning another full length paranormal romance manuscript (novel) for publication.

Please note: Im not a poetry reader, so i avoid the unknowing.

Also, I’m not a big fan of reading chapter stories, or continuations.
If I don’t read your particular story because it falls in one of the two categories, it’s simply because my attention span will not permit it on the internet.


I try to leave as many comments as i can, good or bad. please keep in mind that they are only my reflections of my interpretations.

The writing style is ok, but I have no idea what your main topic is about. Or why the characters do what they do.  
 
Were you tormented wit cartoon movies as a child? 
 
Could have been better if you stayed on one subject and went with it.

Although I feel your male character was trying a bit too hard to get to know her, when he knew she rode the bus with him everyday. 
 
He should have played along more with her games. 
 
Found an error you might want to edit. 
 
"As he big beautiful eyes meet his." Should be her, right!!

Hi D.A!

Funny enough, I actually tried to minimise the incoherent aspects of dreaming for this, but still wanted to leave a lot for the reader to decide themselves.

I wrote it with the idea in mind that most of the time in dream situations, there is no real 'story' - in nightmares, it's mainly just the horror, and inability or (in this case ability) to overcome it.

I just posted a reply to another comment there, and explains a bit about the ideas behind the story. Have a wee read! -


"The piece starts with the main character suffering 'central sleep apnea', then the main body of the story is the horrific middle of the night experiences which are very real to the sufferer.

The story is based on nightmares that I've had, and also what other people have reported - people have claimed that they have been visited/abducted/experimented on by other worldly beings- e.g. grey and blue aliens - but it can all be attributed to a sleeping disorder called 'sleep paralysis' .

For the main part of story when it's dark, the protagonist is controlled by the paralysis, but then in the end in the daylight, he controls it and experiences what some would report as an 'out of body experience' or 'astral projection', though I believe when this happens that it is simply no more than 'lucid dreaming'."
