About Myself: Yo, my name's Cody, I'm officially a junior in high school, and I believe that waking up to see Michael Jackson staring in at you thru your window is the scariest thing in the universe; next to waking up and seeing the king from the burger king commercials staring at you thru you window, of course. I write whenever something pops into my head. My genre is horror, but not gross out, more of a spooky/ suspenseful kinda thing. Every now and then though, I may write something that is not for people with easily upset stomachs. And then, sometimes I try my hand at other types of stories, and the results are never good. I develop my skills through writing and hearing criticism. Also, I'm not great at spelling or grammar, so if you see something wrong, go ahead point it out. My idols are: Stephen King and Dean Koontz. Lets see...that's all someone slighted interested enough to read this should need to know. Hope you enjoy my stories!

Amazing
Excellent.
The suspense built through the story was perfect. The creepiness factor is perfect. I am really freaked out, something that doesn't happen quite often, especially when I'm reading.
This story is of a rare breed. Nowadays, the horror genre has become lost from where it started. (Where'd it start?-- check out Hitchcock) We no longer have suspense filled, nail biters that give little kids nightmares. Now we have throat slashing, gut spilling "horror" that just makes little kids puke (books and movies alike.)
To make my point of this: Demon Seeds reminded me of why I got into this horror business. If I have nightmares tonight, or can't sleep, that just makes it better. This story will stay with me for a long time, and is a definite favorite.
Please keep up the good work.
FYI: You are officially my new hero!

Great job. Loved it from the beginning. Great job weaving the suspense through the story. And the creature, damn I'm probably not going to do anything till I figure out what that could be.
Any hints?

Brilliantly done.
It was nice and deep, just like I like my poems.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I am actually working on a revision for this that'll be more suspenseful and involving you a whole lot more (not to give too much away, but anyone ever read R.L. Stein?)

Thanks!

Tolkien, really?

On a sadder note, I've come to a major construction zone on the highway of this series, unfortunately all lanes are closed into further notice. Hopefully it will be soon...

Thanks.

I understand what your saying, and I'll work on it. What I was aiming for with the disappearances is that they'd come at a completely unexpected time, and I personally think that Albert was the only one that worked out. I even think that after awhile it got repetitive.

Thanks again! And thanks for being the first person to comment on a story of mine!

great story, just one question, what exactly happens to Danny? Does Rummy get him, even though he made it out of the house? Does he die of blood loss? Does he live (i noticed one of the detectives said attacked not killed)

Please, I need to know!

Interesting
Nicely done.

Brilliant twist on the wolf's rhyme, by the way. lmao

Excellent
This was my first time reading any of your Minority stuff, and I have to say I was deeply impressed. I felt all sorts of things as I read, pity for the characters, disturbed by the vividness of some of the scenes, relief when the heroes reached safety, etc.
I have to ask though, what was your inspiration for the story? Did something in particular give you your ideas?
Keep up the good work!

Title article: Khalahua Chronicles: pt.1: Welcome to Khalahua

About it
First off, it's pronounced: Kal - uh - who - uh; just incase someone wanted to know...

The Khalahua series is something I never meant to write. "Welcome to Khalahua" was supposed to end as it did, but as soon as I finished writing, the ideas started flowing. The second part, "The History of Death" should be up soon.

Hope you all enjoyed it!
