About Myself: Names Cody and I hail from Plano, Texas.
I'm Sixteen, and am a Junior at Plano East Senior High. I haven't been writing as much as I'd like (tanks to band demanding every hour of my life), but now that football season has practically ended, I should be posting a lot more.
I just finished my Hiatus '08 which consisted of summer vacation, and an ideas building period.
Also, because I believe that if you don't do something right, you need to do it again, I will be pulling stories to fix them, and then I will re-submit them.
A few things about my writing:
I'm a grammar Nazi as my English teachers say, so I get really aggravated when I see miss used ppunctuation.
My genre is Horror (more suspense than gore), but I've branched out into poetry, but even my poems are sort of dark...
My favorite authors are Mr. Stephen King, Mr. Dean Koontz, and Mr. John Saul.

oh my God, I broke out laughing at the Swiss army knife thing, that was great! This story is too funny, makes me wonder why it's categorized as Horror instead of Humor...

Interesting
I really liked the beginning; the descriptions were good. I actually thought this one was better than the best chapter, but I thought the ending was not as strong as it should be. The caring shadow just sort of came out of no where based on the descriptions of it ready to kill previous to it. 
But overall it was god. 
 
Keep up the good work!

Nah!!! Never in Horror!!! 
This was Phenomenal!!! I loved the ending, and he change of pace from chapter 6 to here...wow! I honestly had no idea that the plague (if you don't mind me calling it that for want of a better word) would spread that fast. 
In my honest opinion, I feel you should continue; build up an the maggot-thing family. What are they, where did they come from, what is their purpose? 
But it is your choice, so in the end, whatever you decide, and whenever you decide it, I will support the ruling. 
 
Here's to a GREAT piece of literature!!!

Overall, you did a great job as usually, and I cannot wait to move on to the next chapter (if it is the final one, I will be sad, but I know it will be epic!

If for some reason i wasn't already hooked on this, there's no reason I shouldn't be now. Your capturing of the human mind in stressful environments was spot on, and the ending did what good ending should do: leave me wanting more.

Once more, the descriptions are phenomenal, "Feeling as if he had been kicked in the testicles with a steel-toed boot, Samuel clenched his teeth and keeled over in pain." I feel his pain, man, great way to hrase that!
