About Myself: Accountant, 55, aspiring writer. Married 2 children, 2 cats (not married to the cats but they think they rule the roost). See gallery for more pictures - George was starting to demand appearance money so I relegated him to the background.......teach him to be sassy!

Ok, so we're pals again.........Hey George, see the nice reader? Kill !!!!!!

Started writing in July 2007 and found that I couldn't stop. Manuscripts now comprise 3 finished novels (60,000; 85,000; 65,000 words respectively) one in progress (currently 20,000), 2 compilations of short stories (total 100,000 words), and some messing around with poetry, although I must confess that it's not my favourite.

That started as limericks on birthday and anniversary cards and now I can't get off the hook.

If anyone knows of a cure............I may be interested (although not JUST yet).

Sorry about the deletions, but they now form part of my first publishd work on www.lulu.com called "Selected Short Stories - Volume 1" please check it out.....

Embarassment
Right, Ok this is where things could become a little tricky.

Should a certain person start revealing things outside of her remit, my embassy in her territory will be closed and all diplomatic staff withdrawn until hostilities cease.

Alternatively my government could send a gunboat to ensure that any of my citizens resident there come to no harm.

Loop
For 'loop' see 'loop'.

Agree with Terry, I've had dreams like this, although nowhere near as well described as you did.

Like falling from a high building but never landing.

Goooooood.

Excruciating
Very funny Dasgupta.

Wonderful diversion into the realms of pain and suffering, and you even managed to throw the 'husband/wife' scenario into the mix for good measure.

Expertly told with short, sharp paragraphs (presumably to mirror the pain), and an ending which had me falling over with laughter.

HOWEVER..............I do have a strange sense of humour, so what you can read into that I wouldn't like to say.

Liked it (as if you hadn't guessed).

Knickers!
Didn't realise there was a "Chapter 0" until today - now feel such a prat.

Ok, got that out of my system. Gimmee more!!!

Welcome back
Thought you gone and left us all.

Good to see more of this, though I did have to go back and revise.

Another factor introduced into the story is not a bad idea at all. Now I'm wondering what the effect will be on both or either of mother and daughter.

Lots of tension to come no doubt.

Very well written.

Title article: Hey, Beautiful, Chapter 1

Fascinating
Keeping the cards close to your chest is always a good idea with a story like this, and you've done a good job of maintaining the interest level.

Liked the intriguing one-liners on his condition, that's also a sort of cliff-hanger.

Want to know what's next.

Style
e.e.cummings used to write in this style, and although he was hailed as one of the modern greats, I didn't understand his work.

I have difficulty in understanding this too, but that doesn't mean it's bad. I'm just crap at poetry.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Title article: A Reccuring Past

First Crime?
Pacey and well-worked plot.

Lots of action in a short space of time, and the characters were well-penned.

There was a good combination of dialogue and descriptive text, and the ending flowed naturally from the preceding action.

Good read, Sebastian...

Title article: A Second Chance

Spooky
I like ghost stories, and this was a really interesting one. Everything seemed to flow very well, and it wasn't until the final few paragraphe that the sense of it all hit me.

By the way, I thought the use of short, punchy sections of text really brought out the pace of the tale.

Keep the pen flowing, sir.

Phil

ps
Unlike Chaabuk, my reviews are all different. This is now the third time that I've read the SAME comments on different stories. If you're going to horde credits sir/madam, at least do it in a subtle manner.

Title article: The Kidnappers Journal, Chapter 2

Short
A bit too short after the first part. You could have put the letter in and still have left it on a knife edge.

I guess I'd better sign your guest book and say "Hi Dad".
You know what I think about your writing - I like most of them (except for the one about the spiders you horrid man!), and the ones I don't are just not my cup of tea rather than there being anything wrong with them. I like the ones I already know best, like the wine one, or the ones about George and Poppy and co, but that's because I already know the stories, but enjoy the way you tell them.
Anyway, keep going with it Dad - you need to start making some money though to pay for my lifestyle!!! Lisa

Wow.

You been reading all my stories and now I feel bad I've haven't read many of yours. That gonna change, though. Just read your 'Layers of Innocence' and that was brilliant. You are truely a talented writer, my friend. I think I might start on your 'Stick' series next.

Oh yeah, you can keep your cats. I'm allergic to them, they make me go blind.

Keep well,

Max
Feedback from Philip Neale (philneale1952): That's great because George says his passport is out of date anyway.

I must say, I like Lulu as well. I haven't published on it, yet, though. I'm trying to finish writing and polishing a collection of short stories. I really like the way Lulu works. It's very nice. I'll have to go check your collection on Lulu out. Write on.

Sit back and breath...popping stories out faster then the Spears sisters. I read fast, but not THAT fast.
Feedback from Philip Neale (philneale1952): In take 'em while they're there........no fresh ideas for a day or so, but got a stock af three or four to keep me going.

i read the disaster recovery story, and typically, after reading a story i bolt over to the writer's profile before i comment. just in case it's a young'un - i don't want to tip any tea kettles...

if i like the writer's style, i usually look to see if he/she has other stories - and i hope for one or two.

jeez - you have many...

now i have a ton of reading to do.

write on!
Feedback from Philip Neale (philneale1952): Errrrm..........there's fewer than there used to be.

Deleted 21 and published them in a book on Lulu.com so you won't see them here any more.

Had Potter grumbling at me for speed writing, but when the ideas are there, it's a shame to waste them.

Thought one up last week just as I was dropping off to sleep, and for the life of me I can't remember what it was now.

Must keep pen and pad by the bedside in future.

Damocles was one like that, but this time it stuck until morning.

HEY! I take it you and George are back to being chummy. Glad to see it. =]
Feedback from Philip Neale (philneale1952): Kind of, yes. This was also a warning to Punk that if he wants my cat he gonna have ta come and get him.............

Daughter took this one....you have to be quick with George otherwise he's apt to inspect the camera for himself.

He's myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cat and nooooooooobody can have him.....he's not even for rent.

Meooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Hi! I just realized I haven't signed your guestbook yet so here we go. you might want to update your profile so it's not saying that the picture of you is George the cat lol
Feedback from Philip Neale (philneale1952): Now look, you've only got my word for it that the picture really isn't me..............agter all, I am a story teller.

Will get it swapped pretty damn quick guv'nor...

Phil (Or george) - he's pretty cool though (Geoge, not me............although....)

Well first off I would like to say that your mystery stories are some of the best if not the best I have ever read.

Second,
