About Myself: Accountant, 55, aspiring writer. Married 2 children, 2 cats (not married to the cats but they think they rule the roost). See gallery for more pictures - George was starting to demand appearance money so I relegated him to the background.......teach him to be sassy!

Ok, so we're pals again.........Hey George, see the nice reader? Kill !!!!!!

Started writing in July 2007 and found that I couldn't stop. Manuscripts now comprise 3 finished novels (60,000; 85,000; 65,000 words respectively) one in progress (currently 20,000), 2 compilations of short stories (total 100,000 words), and some messing around with poetry, although I must confess that it's not my favourite.

That started as limericks on birthday and anniversary cards and now I can't get off the hook.

If anyone knows of a cure............I may be interested (although not JUST yet).

Sorry about the deletions, but they now form part of my first publishd work on www.lulu.com called "Selected Short Stories - Volume 1" please check it out.....

Daughter took this one....you have to be quick with George otherwise he's apt to inspect the camera for himself.

He's myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cat and nooooooooobody can have him.....he's not even for rent.

Hi! I just realized I haven't signed your guestbook yet so here we go. you might want to update your profile so it's not saying that the picture of you is George the cat lol
Feedback from Philip Neale (philneale1952): Now look, you've only got my word for it that the picture really isn't me..............agter all, I am a story teller.

Well first off I would like to say that your mystery stories are some of the best if not the best I have ever read.

Second,

Hi.

Hi....
Feedback from Philip Neale (philneale1952): Thank you for signing in. Back at home now, it's 6.55 UK time and we've got House and Shark on TV tonight. Only watch US dramas, UK ones aren't up to much and there's too much bad language.

Phil

Clever layout - took me a while to see what you were getting at, but then it suddenly clicked.

Mmmmmmmmm
Must have missed the grammatical errors (no sideswipe intended), as I was hooked up on the plot.

This is a real go-er, and I like the dual scenario of mother and remaining daughter. It's almost like split-screen movie shooting.

Impressive.

Riders
Damn you! Now I can't get that tune out of my head.

Makes the poem run better though.

Was struggling with the format until I read your note.

Aaahhhhhhhhh.....that's better!

This story is coming along very nicley, and I like the way you're not trying to rush things.

Good plot - it's got me very interested.

Picks up pace quite fast in this installment, and you take great care with your scene setting. That's always the hallmark of a good story.

I agree with the first comment, and it's getting better all the time.

More............
You have GOT to carry this one through to the end JJ.

It's the prefcet tale of the wrom turning but with a new twist.

Never thought of a buffalo being the role model for a bully victim, and there's a lot more mileage here.

Like it.

Oh Yes!
Great story and I really liked the twist at the end.

Any longer and it would have lost any meaning, shorter and I'd have been scratching my head.

The length was spot on, the characters were perfect and the entire story beautifully told.

Excellent - one of the best I've read on here.

Cutting
Very good - emotions run high when other siblings can't be bothered to get off their well-heelied backsides don't they?

Nicely set in my time of life - we had one of those mowers and I hated it too.

This should strike a chord right across all levels of society.

Well done.

Five Stars
Wonderful story - never saw the end and had to read it twice. Laughed out loud then.

Nicely linked all the way through and talk about the worm turning!

This wasn't a little number dashed off in a moment of madness.

You must have apent a good while thinking it through.

Excellent.
