Interesting and well written. I could both understand and feel Sophie's pain. I didn't understand exactly why Malcom seemed so eager to humiliate her, then is trying to save her. Maybe it's something that can be revealed in a second part? Overall it's a good story, good protagonist, well written.

Really nice read! I can see this as a 1st issue comic book -- actually see the sketches with your words etched in tiny boxes and dialogue baloons. Nicely written. Is this an intro to a longer saga?

Great story! I really had no idea what was going on until the very end. It gave me a hallow feeling in my stomach...great job!!!!! Aside from the few grammatical errors (a few missing periods and commas is about it) this story is very powerful!!!!!

In the first draft it was a comet - still is, I'm guessing. I figured ambiguity would be more suspenseful. For myself, I am always more afraid of what I'm not sure of. I hope that readers will be, too. Thank you for commenting, and thanks most of all for reading!!!

Really gets deep into you, sort of like a hypnotic induction. I can imagine it being read out loud, eyes closed...and at the end you open your eyes and find you are shivering, dripping with fear. Well done!!

Re: Pedestrian
Thanks for the comment. This is exactly why (as a new writer) I'm trying this sort of forum for some work. Good advice is priceless, especially in this line of work. Thanks again :)
