I liked it, it was a pain to go through high school for me even though I slacked off, I was still a, what did they call it, brain. 
 
I would sleep in class and they would cheat off of me, but when it came time for them to show off it was the ones who they relied upon to give them their ammunition. 
 
I believe it does portray life accurately. 
 
But you are what you are, everyone deals with it one way or another, but there comes a point when you just snap and try to rid yourself of it all.

I’d have to disagree with you C.R. because life itself can be better but weather or not it actually feels better is up to the person. 
 
You can have the best of everything and still feel like you have a horrid life.

I’d have to agree with dirkin on that matter, that you do force the people to actually see the world that we live in is not a happy cuddly get what you want place, but it is a kill or be killed place where if you are lucky you can have something resembiling a “good” life while it may end up a horrible mess, it’s the choices that others make around us that do the most harm, while we make the best choices we can it still leads to having crap while the people who make the “bad” choices end up getting what they want. 
 
I don’t see you as dark at all, but in fact I see you as having all of this in your head and trying to open the eyes of everyone around you and that in itself is a sad fact because most people would rather live in some retarded fantasy world where they only see what they want to see rather than see the world as it is.

I haven’t read too many of the stories on this site lately, but I have to say I liked this one, it takes a step back from all of the fast paced action and slows everything down and puts some things in perspective, I was waiting for when they would start baby making, I can only guess the reason why the “church” hadn’t had any babies is because of the “priest.” He could have had them used as bait.
