About Myself: I write a self-published, photo copied zine, called Something Indecent. It has stories and comics, false ads, along with fake news. Original? Impossible. It's nothing new but it's a good way to help forget about how much MONEY I owe the gov't. $8K!! Ooooohhhh why does debt have to sting so bad? Why can't we all be happy to owe large sums of money to multiple parties? 'Debt makes you dance.' That should be the truth. Well, maybe if I dance my debt will turn into fiction while reality hands me a new pair of shoes.

So yeah I made a myspace page awhile back but haven't done anything with it in months. I don't have internet at home anymore since I moved so I can't update it at work but if anyone is interested the url is: myspace.com/somethingindecent (i think)

I made the audio stories when I was drunk so they're not as uuuhhh lets say intelligible as they could be. But it was definately fun at the time. Oh yeah. Get a friend to play guitar and read a story into a microphone with a cigarette pinched between your fingers and a beer in the adjacent hand and you will have a good time. Seriously, you should try it.

But yes, once I have the ability to resuscitate the site I'm going to do more of those (possibly a bit more sober) and try to liven' the thing up. And by that time I'll have been able to post stories on here again. Sooooo yeah, check it out if you want to hear a drunk man babbling.

Wow I feel like a douche for not congratulating you earlier! This is a big deal! I hope it sells enough copies so you can release a lot more books. I'd love it if I could (afford to) fly on a plane, sit back, relax, and read Philip Neal's latest riveting novel. I wish you the highest success you strange cat enthusiest.

P.S. So you're going to mail us all copies when it comes out right?.................right? ..........Hello? Free books? Phil?..........good luck. Best wishes.

Title article: Jericho, Chapter 13

LOL!!
This was a fun chapter dude. I like finding out how Johnny descended into Jericho. Sounds like some crazy shit. So what's with the neighbors having my last name? Are you saying I'm rich and ignorant? I'm going to kill you Max.

Once again though very well written. The ending leaves the reader wanting more. I'm glad I saved these chapters so I could read them in a group. Anyway, I have to go find your address now. Be seeing you.......;)

Title article: Jericho, Chapter 12

Wow Johnny is way more likeable than when we saw him in the prologue through Maddox's eyes. There were so many things I liked about this chapter. Obviously the Ramen Revolution, I have to tip my hat to that. Bob Pope! HA! You almost made me giggle with this chapter. Which would of been unfortunate for you because I don't giggle. And if someone makes me giggle.......they end up like Kristina's mother. Alright? Enough said.

Oh yeah good job.

Title article: Jericho, Chapter 11

I love how all of this is being tied together. It's been planned out well so far. I'm glad that I still have 2 more chapters to read.

If you want more compliments pretend I said something nice ________________here. 5 points!

Title article: Jericho, Chapter 10
Date: 2008-09-06 22:01:43

It was a bit rushed but not too much. Same with the coincidence of her planning on hitting the Desperations. I liked the horrid end for the mom and craig couple. Delightful. :)

I consider this another good chapter in a tight well structered series. I'm going to go and read some more. Well, after I go pick up some pilots. Well done.

One thing I'd like to see more of is the crime side of the story. But then again that could already be up ahead and I'm just wasting precious finger energy. Nicely written there Booth.

Title article: Upheaval and Restoration
Date: 2008-09-05 22:51:14

Very good writing as the others have already stated. I thought that the descriptions were good and the action ongoing. This story made me glad of two things A. That I'm a human being and B. That I own a refrigerator.

Title article: Nothing Compared
Date: 2008-09-04 22:09:50

I liked it. I've been depressed and I like reading depressing stories and if it helps for you to write about it then fine, that's great. But I don't think we have to bash someone who is just trying to relate on how they overcame or at least came in control of their struggle.

But yeah I thought that this was a good poem that could also be rewritten as a point of view of someone with less seeing those with more through jaded and unsympathetic eyes. But then again that would probably have to written by someone who comes from this point of view. Anyway what the Hell do I know. I get through my depression through humor. Which I don't advocate claiming it will solve anything. It just works for me. The End. This comment........is over.

Title article: ALL SHOOK UP.
Date: 2008-09-04 21:55:25

This was depressing. And creepy. It was also dark. And dismal. I liked the way you formatted this. It was easy to read and melded line to line. You seemed to have gotten inside this woman's head and really messed her up! What did you do to her Terry!? No but really good poem.

Title article: The Snowy Afternoon, Chapter 1
Date: 2008-09-04 21:49:32

Yeah this could be turned into something bigger but as it is it's still an introspective look at this depressed girl who can only find self gratification through mutilation. I've known too many people like that. Good story.

Title article: Trippy Tale
Date: 2008-09-04 21:45:15

HA! Needless to say I enjoyed this quite a bit. It's always nice to get different subject matter in the poetry on here. I didn't find anything particularly wrong with the rhyming or flow. Great ending with a fine build up. Good work sir.

A smash hit? Definitly. This is the kind of song they sing in musicals.

"Dumpster baby, what is your name?
Dumpster baby, who left you in the rain?"

classic.

Stuart!

I've actually never chatted (expect for the forums and guestbook on this site) but i think i might give it a shot later just to fuck with people.

I'm not sure if I did it right, so go check. I tried to forward it. Ahh, i suck at internet tools.
