About Myself: I write a self-published, photo copied zine, called Something Indecent. It has stories and comics, false ads, along with fake news. Original? Impossible. It's nothing new but it's a good way to help forget about how much MONEY I owe the gov't. $8K!! Ooooohhhh why does debt have to sting so bad? Why can't we all be happy to owe large sums of money to multiple parties? 'Debt makes you dance.' That should be the truth. Well, maybe if I dance my debt will turn into fiction while reality hands me a new pair of shoes.

So yeah I made a myspace page awhile back but haven't done anything with it in months. I don't have internet at home anymore since I moved so I can't update it at work but if anyone is interested the url is: myspace.com/somethingindecent (i think)

I made the audio stories when I was drunk so they're not as uuuhhh lets say intelligible as they could be. But it was definately fun at the time. Oh yeah. Get a friend to play guitar and read a story into a microphone with a cigarette pinched between your fingers and a beer in the adjacent hand and you will have a good time. Seriously, you should try it.

But yes, once I have the ability to resuscitate the site I'm going to do more of those (possibly a bit more sober) and try to liven' the thing up. And by that time I'll have been able to post stories on here again. Sooooo yeah, check it out if you want to hear a drunk man babbling.

Title article: DOLL.
Date: 2008-08-25 06:35:13

How come everyone thought that the doll would come alive? From the start I thought that the doll would be molested. Sadly though it just watched.

This was an emotional piece but with a step taken back so as to convey the plight and actions of the characters rather than their motivations or ambitions. I'm soooo tired right now so everytime you mentioned bed it made me quiver with anticipation until the clock strikes freedom.

Title article: Jericho, Chapter 7
Date: 2008-08-25 06:20:34

I'm interested in seeing where this chapter connects with the rest. Once again good job on the writing. If you wanted I think you could write a nice little romantic tale. But then again, where's the pay off in love? I kind of missed the pressence of Maddox but I know we'll be seeing him in the next chapter. Liked your Kristie character. She seemed real and a little run through. My compliments on your growing talent.

Title article: Stop Wining
Date: 2008-08-24 01:54:52

Very witty and delightful piece Phil. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Though it did make me want to become a wine baron. I really liked it. Oh did I forget to mention..........well yeah I did.

Title article: Going Home
Date: 2008-08-24 01:38:13

Very moving. I don't usually read touching stories but the writing was done so well I couldn't resist. You have something here. I'm glad she finally made it home. :)

Title article: Gibberish - Part 1
Date: 2008-08-24 01:20:04

I liked how you painted the school environment with your descriptions. The next chapter has a lot of potential in what you can do with the other students. Keep writing girl!

Title article: Dancer in the Music Box
Date: 2008-08-24 01:08:43

Creepy stuff going on here. I have a music box (somehow) and I'm very thankful that nothings inside of it. If there was I think I'd have to kill it after reading this. Very good poem.

Title article: Rookie, Chapter One
Date: 2008-08-24 01:01:01

Brutal story. I didn't expect what happened. Which is always good. You really built up the tension after the scream which is always enthralling. Poor Nate.

Title article: That damned benevolence
Date: 2008-08-24 00:32:57

Awesome story man. I really like the way you write. It's fun, fast, and observant. This story was a nice breath of fresh air to me. I really liked Lola's personality. Great descriptions all around. The ending was great. Loved the twist.

Title article: Bittersweet Soldering
Date: 2008-08-23 23:58:43

YES!!! It's about time somebody threw in the crying and masterbating! My friends and I used to always joke around about that. But seriously this was a nice piece that read really smooth. It does kind of tug at the reader that they can't be together.

Title article: WET AND DRY (Gambia 1999)
Date: 2008-08-23 23:47:06

Samba just can't get a break can he? I liked the use of stating whether he was happy or not throughout the story. It was like a recurring joke. Everytime I saw it I couldn't help but smile. :)

Yeah Susan was her name I think ... of course I've seen it. Seinfield is a good ass show.

There ya go!

Hey, you plan on posting more stories up? You throw two right after each other and now I want more. More I say! Oh yeah, i wrote a song with the Pixies in mind. Check it out then. It's called Trained to Kill. Picture the pixies singing it, though.

i'm sure working at a hotel just makes it worse knowing that you are surrounded by bedrooms where people are sleeping--and you arent.

yeah the brandy/7up was one of the 'chick drinks' that he made for me lol. my favorite drink ever is a screwdriver, so he made me coconut rum and orange juice once lol good stuff too maynard.
