Sorry that I haven't been around much lately, but my real world stuff has been savagely intruding into my E-life time. I'll try and be back soon!

Thanks again!
But...Hmm. Does it really read as though twenty armed bandits are in fact, 'defenseless humans'? If you really think so, then I'll address that issue when I do my edit, because that wasn't how I wanted it to seem at all. I guess I chose poorly when trying to decide what to leave in and out of this chapter, because I could have easily written it as 10,000 words and I was trying to avoid that by chopping the fat, so to speak. But you make a valid point, I now see upon reflection.

And yes, please keep reading. She does, in fact, find herself challenged... *grin* Glad that you enjoy the story, and thanks for pointing out things that I need to fix. I would like to think that this would be publishable one day, even though I know it isn't there as it sits now...

Thanks!
Yeah, I have a tendency to tumble sometimes, and this was loosely based on one of those times. I'm glad that you enjoyed it!

*laughs and nods*
I had this posted before on another site, and NO one asked about that unfinished story of Buddy's until now. Sorry that it didn't write itself, I have no freakin' idea what happened. Although I might finish the story later on, it might be a good tale in itself, right?

Title article: Tasha At Talon's Nook -- The Conclusion

Thanks!
This one is my baby, and I love these characters. I had an absolute blast writing this one, and I'm really glad that you liked it. There will be more...one day.

Really, thank you!

Title article: So there I was 2...
Date: 2008-04-16 09:32:21
Dude...
I did acid about six times, TRYING to see walls melt, or angels singing, or any of the other really out there visuals that you hear about when talking to 'sid heads. Never saw anything, so I quit trying.

So, while I got the message, I also have to tell you that this was a really great write, man. Top notch!

Sweet Mother of God...
That was like eating an ice cream cone too fast... *laughs*

How the blazes do you type like that? it would make me insane.

Still it was good for a laugh. Sorry that you were defeated, but did you have to take your revenge on us? *grin*

I rather thought you might enjoy it... *grins*

Title article: Tasha At Talon's Nook -- Chapter One
Date: 2008-04-16 06:27:02
Dang it...
I have a thing for westerns, and I'm afraid that most of my 'archaic' settings in my stories end up having a western feel to them. Apparently, I can't help myself in that regard. And when I wrote it, I was hungry for a hamburger, so I tossed that in. I guess the good thing about fantasy is that you can make up the fact that in the world of Cardia, they invented meat grinders a long dang time ago... *laughs*

You're NOT the first person to call me out on those two things, if you were wondering... later on, I have a HUGE snafu in that I have them harvesting hay in the spring. It's plot specific, so I can't change it until I do the massive edit that I have planned for later on this year, at which point the entire story will take place in the fall, instead of spring so I can accomodate the harvest.

If you need an escape or just a laugh, then you've come to the right author. Take a journey through Scott's mind. You may come back laughing or crying, but you will never be disappointed.
