About Myself: This I Believe…
¨ I believe all people have an equal claim to life, freedom, tolerance and justice – and no law, government, majority, religion, ideology or prejudice can ethically deny, even one individual, equal opportunity to enjoy them.
¨ I believe in the universal application of love, without regard for divisive ideologies that capitalize on differences in race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or sexual orientation.
¨ I believe in an uncompromising commitment to ethics, freedom, equity, equality, justice and tolerance for all. These values should mandate the character of our faith. Any faith, religion, scripture, church or institution, whose teachings or policies threaten the quality of other people’s lives, should be abandoned.
¨ I believe empathy is the most noble of all virtues. It is only by way of empathy with those suffering, disenfranchised or repressed that we can achieve equity in our treatment of others.
¨ I believe there is no higher authority than reason and critical thinking. To question is the answer. Spiritual growth cannot occur unless we continue the search for better answers from a variety of sources. Institutions using sophistry to nurture absolute dogmas only nurture intellectual arrogance, impeding spiritual growth.
¨ I believe demagogic and simplistic answers do not do adequately or equitably address complex problems.
¨ I believe in moral relativism. Absolute dogmas and inflexible rules fail to serve the interests of social justice.
¨ I believe there are only human solutions to human problems. If we cannot do it, it will not get done. Any reliance upon supernaturalism impedes human progress.
¨ I believe that a single well-substantiated fact, irreconcilable with a belief, is sufficient to prove that belief false.

Excellent
This is just the quality of writing I love to read. You have begun what could be a wonderful story. Please continue. It was very well written. I envy your style.

Potential
Well written. I think this story has potential. There are many unanswered questions. You have left us with a mystery. Why would a torturer feel sorry for his victim?

Title article: Bad Religion

Excellent
One certainly gets a different perspective of church and religion when they step back and objectively observe how much it controls and enslaves those who fall into its clutches. Great job of writing. I enjoyed it much.

Fantastic!
A wonderful commentary on the timelessness of nature and its beauty. We are very temorary. One reason I loved it was that it was so easy to understand. I got the point.

Very Interesting
Verying interesting story and very well written. Editing was evident. Nothing but praise for this one. Hope to read the next chapter. You've got my interest.

Title article: The Domesticate
Date: 2008-08-26 13:54:45
Nice
This is very well written with only one thing that bothered me. Too many paragraphs began with the word "Sheen." So many, in fact, that it jumped out at me and became bothersome. Otherwise, very well written.

Title article: Das Babu
Date: 2008-08-26 05:06:44
Wonderful
This is a wonderful story, extremely well written and edited. Sadly, tragic events in people's lives sometimes make them feel they are not worthy of life. What institution nurtures the idea that those suffering deserve their suffering? I can only think of one.

Title article: No Forgiveness
Date: 2008-08-26 04:53:29
Not Fake
So while everyone else was fake he thought he wasn't? Of course, that's very to life. And so are the delusions. Excellent prose that is dark but deserves the very best rating.

Title article: The Possessor of All, Chapter 4
Date: 2008-08-25 04:40:57
Excellent
This was an excellent story and a tragic end to humanity. Will we not destroy ourselves and our planet with the same relentless greed for wealth and power, a thirst that cannot be quenched by reason. Wonderfully written?

Title article: The Possessor of All, Chapter 3
Date: 2008-08-23 06:49:01
Excellent
This was writing at its best. I loved it from beginning to end. The only thing that I didn't like was the small font. That made reading difficult. But I anxiously await the next chapter.
