"What part made him talk, when he could of easily not spoken,..." is brilliant. I will be thinking about that line for the rest of the day. The piece appears to be very introspective and it seems to me that you wrote this more for yourself than for an audience. I would like to dig deeper into this character's mind, but I guess it's....none of my business.

Very natural. I read it twice and your use of Chekov still eludes me somewhat. I originally assumed the narrator's feelings toward the writer reflected the man's toward the woman, but I keep thinking there's something deeper than that. Nice work.

Nice deception. I also like how the girl "sticks out" to the boy--taunting him--, even though she should be swallowed by the crowd.
