About Myself: I'm a 17 year old guy from Kolkata. Writing is my passion....although my writings were mostly limited to stories/essays as a part of school assignments, classwork and stuff like that. I've wrote for quite a few story contests...and won a few as well :) But I've only just started posting content on the net. My stories explore emotions, ethics, the darkness, the gloom, along with the happy and the joyous moments. It's the reflection of human nature.

Writing,to me,is a vent - for letting out all my feelings, all the pent up and supressed ones. I channelise my frustration, anger, happiness,EVERYTHING into this medium.

I hope you like my stories! :D
Have fun!

Project 30 part 2 was really awesome. Better than Part I maybe. Kinda disappointed 'cause I didn't get to join in. I'm gonna go and strangle my teachers now. T__T

Title article: The Waitress
Date: 2008-09-18 03:47:25

I dunno...but I LOL-ed like anything in the end :D :D :D Unintentionally funny, I guess. :P

But yeah - this story really worked for me. Weird twist! Liked it.

Two thumbs up~!

Title article: The Monkey
Date: 2008-09-17 03:03:27

Alright! Had a King-ish taste to it :P . Really good.

The kinda serious language really worked here. The vintage setting was very well portrayed.

And teh monkey! x__x The attack's descriptions were deliciously grotesque and elaborate. Not to mention horrific :P

You did a really great job with this one.Hope you'll write more horror soon - really looking forward to that !

Title article: The Deafening Silence
Date: 2008-09-11 07:30:45

Amazing..you get better with each and every story you write. This one was well constructed, well framed, well carried-out, and well-ended. The similes used were appropriate and went along well with the flow of the story, and the conversations and dialogue seemed realistic too.

On the whole, a GREAT story! I think you've written a couple other stories about Hindu-Muslim conflicts, riots etc. , but THIS one is simply the best among those. Arguably your best ever!

Great job, and Keep writing!

Title article: Dance With The Devil
Date: 2008-09-04 21:52:14

Yeah, but this guy JUST shares his name with the John Hartigan from 'That Yellow Bastard', Sin City. But nothing else is similar. This isn't a fanfic :P (but I'm a huge Frank Miller fan :D )

..and John Woo is a GOD to me :D

Title article: Lemon: a Haiku

Well as others have said, you won't 'get' the poem if you just read the lines. Readin between the lines, ahh...that gets you somewhere. Gets you thinking, gets your imagination up and running :P :P

Good, on the whole.

Title article: Hoping The Sun Doesn't Rise
Date: 2008-08-31 12:48:49

SPLENDID ! Loved this poem. The angsty, dramatic content was delivered BANG ON target :D

The last four lines were absolutely spectacular IMO, fitting ending for this awesome poem :D

Really, fallin outta words here!
Drips awesomeness...

Title article: My Present
Date: 2008-08-31 12:46:28

Hey this was pretty good! That sincere, honest request to be loved, trusted, and in turn love and trust someone else, is really well done.

I liked the short, simple sentences too. Said a lot more than elaborate, complex ones.

Cheers! :D

Title article: A Date with Priya
Date: 2008-08-17 00:20:46

Oh this was really great. The last line, as almost everyone has said, drips awesomeness. In context to the story, I mean.

I really liked the short, to the point sentences. Oh,for those wondering, the timeframe of this story must be a while back..judging from the Uttam Kumar reference :)

Great, on the whole.

P.S. Didn't know fellow bengalis to be on storiesville. Pleasant surprise :)

*Signs guestbook* Hey I like your stories! I also write to vent: I feel I need to vent my crazy thoughts in a permanent form like writing so I can go back and look at it!
Feedback from Prithwish (prithwish.nath): I hear ya!
