About Myself: I'm a 17 year old guy from Kolkata. Writing is my passion....although my writings were mostly limited to stories/essays as a part of school assignments, classwork and stuff like that. I've wrote for quite a few story contests...and won a few as well :) But I've only just started posting content on the net. My stories explore emotions, ethics, the darkness, the gloom, along with the happy and the joyous moments. It's the reflection of human nature.

Writing,to me,is a vent - for letting out all my feelings, all the pent up and supressed ones. I channelise my frustration, anger, happiness,EVERYTHING into this medium.

I hope you like my stories! :D
Have fun!

Title article: I want to Believe
Date: 2008-10-23 09:52:23

Actually I was drawn in because of the "I WANT TO BELIEVE" concept rather than the romantic stuff in there :D :P

But yeah, your skill as a poet is undoubted. This poem was good, as usual. We all want to believe in something in life, something that'd give us strength to get us through our days.

P.S. I'm a total X-Phile :D So there ya go ! The explanation for my obsession with the phrase "I want to believe" :D

Title article: Curiosity
Date: 2008-10-23 09:45:31

Ok...this was weird.

Well it's really impressive how you managed to write this whole thing without using adjectives/ adverbs...but...yeah - it DOES evoke curiosity, but...what was the point of the whole thing? It's a story without an ending. Weird, really. Curious, yes. But weird.

P.S. If this a series or somethin, i'm really sorry :P

Title article: Secret British Body Shop
Date: 2008-10-23 09:39:05

Sorry, forgot to rate :P

P.S. Well IMO, he wants you to make this a bit more humorous because...since it's a kinda 'heavy' topic, maybe witty stuff would make it a bit light, but aggressive nonetheless. Satire/Wit can really work in poetry like these, where you're speaking out against something.

Personally, I enjoyed the creepy aura around it, and wouldn't prefer to have it more humorous.

A scathing take on the objectification of women. Well I guess you really are on an aggressive stance against it, and that's great. The poem depicted a bitter commentator on the thing, and that made a good narrative, in this context.

I didn't get why it's called the secret BRITISH body shop though..

Title article: What Ever Is To Come
Date: 2008-10-23 09:29:09

I liked this. Had a really nice aura about it.

I really liked the lines :

"Wondering who invented the reason to lie.
Why apathy consumed my will to try."

and

"Picking up the pieces, but the puzzle never found.

Watching friends, as they crumble all around. "

It's really a "poetic" poem lol :D The build-up to the ending, as well as the ending itself, were great.

Keep writing!

Title article: To all the Young Lovers
Date: 2008-10-23 01:55:13

Wow...this really is great. It's romantic, yeah, but not warm and fuzzy. It isn't a cookie-cutter love poem, and that's what draws me in. It's kinda gothic too. But maybe thats just me lol :P

Keep writing!

Title article: In The Rain -- My first attempt at poetry
Date: 2008-10-23 01:49:07

Upbeat! I liked it. It's a shame you haven't written any more like these. :(

They'd make for an interesting departure from your usual style :D

Title article: Kiss of Departure
Date: 2008-10-23 01:42:54

Epic !

That's really all I can say. I haven't come across many poems as good as this.

And the last paragraph kicks a**, to reiterate what others have already said.

Title article: A Storiesville Wedding
Date: 2008-10-23 01:36:33

Hey yeah thx for the heads up amatayo...NOW I REMEMBER -

I WASN'T INVITED EITHER!!

Title article: A Storiesville Wedding

This was....umm..weird. @__@

Actually it seemed nothing more than funny as hell, on my first readthrough. Then I saw ZP's comment, and your follow-up :P Then yeah, it kinda seemed a bit sad. But still, it was funny. Especially the description of the regulars here. :D

Really liked it. Two thumbs up !
