About Myself: Musician/Writer/Loafer

And, okay, I'm a wordy bastard who believes good storytelling should be good escapism, too. Good writing should project vivid mental movies, and leave the reader with the feeling of having just enjoyed a welcome break from reality in another time or place. And I admit getting that escape might require more words than modern life generally wants to allow. But sometimes, it's worth the effort.

Thanks! I guess that as a longtime Mark Twain fan, most of my stories take more time than what modern life tends to allow. But I really appreciate your staying with it. And I've often wondered about that bale of hay thing, too!
