No ipods in the after life?
Armadillos often have leprosy. They were around a lot more before the fire ants took over down here in the lone star state.

I liked the transition. A good quick story, with a clever ending.

Good luck and keep writing brother.

As a narrator I've been served papers several times by my characters.

It could use some work, but I loved this line:

"But something happened in that toilet."

That alone was worth the price of admission.

Title article: Testing My Pencil
Date: 2008-07-28 22:13:21

It made me laugh on the inside, which is all that counts.

Talking to inanimate objects isn't too much of a problem. The problem comes when they talk back.

Wow, SageSyren really said it well. I don't think I can say anything more than I like where you are going, but the pacing seemed somewhat quick because we didn't get the full picture.

Good luck and keep writing.

Title article: There Is Only One Star, Chapter 1
Date: 2008-07-28 19:55:35

This is an interesting developed character who prefers to find people dead rather than alive, and doesn't bother to see things that aren't there.

I really enjoyed this, and I'll be looking forward to reading the next one.

Keep writing and good luck.

I thought it jumped around a lot too. Take your time. Keep writing and good luck.

Disturbing
I think that's what you were going for, so good job.

Title article: Stick - The Final Reckoning, Chapter 5
Date: 2008-07-26 10:27:45
Great Story
I am left with some questions, but I think that's how you wanted it.

Very well done.

Title article: Stick, Chapter 3
Date: 2008-07-26 10:18:47
Agreed
I agree with all three above. This story has a good pace, enough details to provide the realism needed, and a mysterious element to it that keeps you wanting more.

Good job, again.

I'm really enjoying 'The Boy and the Buffalo' - thought it was time I signed in.

I read your blog.
I hope you realize that the Lakers will eat the flesh of the Spurs.
Ginobli is your only real hope. Duncan isn't being as dominant as he should, and Ginobli (even though I respect the guy), pulled some lucky shots that drove momentum for them in Game 3.

Enjoy the last few games of your season, fan of the Spurs.

From LA,
-CS.
Feedback from JJ Tyler (JJtyler): Your prophecy was correct! Although the Lakers didn't fare to well in the next round.

We'll see what happens in an odd year.
