I like the thought of feeling the carpet for the last time. It really becomes a part of you, not only keeping a layer of your skin cells but also for the sentimentality.

“God always watches out for the drunks,” is a good line, although it makes me cringe it was one of the small details that gave the conversation a ‘real’ feel.

The End
I thought the end was really well done, and it reminded me of seeing the Challenger go down when I was a tot.

Good job.

Good poem.
I just lost a brother-in-law to Mesothelioma. He had two young kids.

Here's hoping for a cure in the near future.

I think for what you are writing, and what you are aiming to do, you do it well.

I may not agree, but I think your point comes across nicely.

The old man
The old man in the nursing home was portrayed perfectly and I felt emotion for him.

That's magic when you can do that, make someone feel something.

Liked the concept. I agree with what the others were saying with the font. It could still be different just less subtle.

But if that's all people have to complain about, then good job.

Faith in the face of tragedy is tough to grapple with.

This was short and probably not going to be big who aren't into this sort of thing, but for what it was I think it was nicely done.

A Good Monster Story
There's not enough monster stories being put up on this site.

Thanks for writing this.

I hate spiders.

Style
I liked the style you wrote this in, with the short sentences and his thoughts breaking in to explain things at times.

I also dug the foreshadowing of the six shooter.

Good work man.

Title article: Keeping it Untied

I liked the twist where the guy was pretending to be hurt.

I'm not sure why no one above got that.

Do you speak English as a second language?

Keep writing.

Like the Lost reference.

There were times when the banter between the two characters was very well done.

Overall this was a good effort.

Keep writing.

I'm really enjoying 'The Boy and the Buffalo' - thought it was time I signed in.

I read your blog.
I hope you realize that the Lakers will eat the flesh of the Spurs.
Ginobli is your only real hope. Duncan isn't being as dominant as he should, and Ginobli (even though I respect the guy), pulled some lucky shots that drove momentum for them in Game 3.

Enjoy the last few games of your season, fan of the Spurs.

From LA,
-CS.
Feedback from JJ Tyler (JJtyler): Your prophecy was correct! Although the Lakers didn't fare to well in the next round.

We'll see what happens in an odd year.
