About Myself: SORRY I HAVEN'T POSTED LATELY. I have been very busy working as a producer/cameraman for a paranormal reality TV show and haven't had time to read, write, or post anything. However, I shall return.

I also write a PULP-STYLE DETECTIVE ADVENTURE SERIES on this site called "VIC SLADE, PRIVATE EYE" under the pen name "TRUMAN DAVIS".... Check it out!

Take care,
J.

JUST US GUYS....
WOW MICHELLE!
It seems you have struck a cord with the men because we are the only ones leaving comments on your seductive little ditty. You have a way of attracting the guys with your words. I think the only thing hotter than reading this would be to have you actually whisper it in my ear... PUH-LEEZE WRITE SOME MORE!!! (I swear I'm not creepy!!!!)

An alternative to MAD COW...
Good story. Makes you wonder about the meat packing industry sometimes. The horror is that, as sick as it is, the pubic wouldn't have to worry about MAD COW!
P.S.- I love Monk, too! Good call.

Good call meeces, I could have cut it off somewhere around "So he did.", but after giving the reader a taste of some carnage-aftermath, I wanted to give them a much anticipated gorefest of blood and guts. After all, what's a werewolf story with that?

Thanks though.

KEEP ON WRITING!!!
Hey. What's the deal? I just read your story along with all of the comments and I'm curious as to why you haven't published anymore.

I thought it was a neat little story. It was fun to read.

Who gives a shit what others say about lack of description and crap like that?! Those are just pompous idiots who are trying to sound just a little more intelligent than they really are. The story was desciptive enough for the content and point you were trying to convey. Well done.

How much more description is needed? We know it's just past 1 o'clock, he lives in a studio apartment, his name is Mike Hugh, there's a bad smell like unattended puke, he lost his girl, killed himself, his spirit now haunts the place.

I've read many stories on this site; some by the very people who give their "two cents" and even they have put out a number of stinkers themselves.

If any of these comment have discouraged you, shame on you! That's just something you have to deal with.

KEEP ON WRITING!

LIKE WHAT YOU READ?
Thanks to Dirkin and everyone else who checks out this story. It started when TARHEAD presented a forum topic which challenged us to come up with a story from the following sentence: "Larry walked through the door and the first thing he noticed was that the dog's water bowl was empty again."

Instead of going with the obvious story about a man and his dog... I decided to give the reader something different and a little frightening.

Please leave a rating to let me know how much you like it.

More to Come...
Thanks My Friend,
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've always been interested in our country's fight for freedom and the notion of what the battles must have been like intrigue me. This story began as a Civil War story, but after the first paragraph I threw it a curve. I have more of these kinds of stories that I will be publishing here.

PASS IT ON!!!
Thanks a million to everyone who has made this story so popular. Pass it on please! And don'tbe afraid to rate the story as well. I'll be writing a blog soon to give some insight to the stories I post. Kind of like a behind the scenes look into each story. I can't help it... I'm a filmmaker and behind the scenes stories are always interesting.

Your opinion matters...
Hey! I've seen you leaving your opinion on other stories... and frankly I like it when someone gives an honest opinion (not just to be destructive and discouraging). Having a comment on one of my stories from you is like having Gene Siskel comment on one of my movies. They will always be welcome as long as they're not destructive.

Glad you enjoyed the story...
This story started out as a crime story set in the 1950's... but the 1800's setting took it in a direction I am very satisfied with. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
