Quite unexpected I must say. I wonder what prompted her to go to the police, I would have probably just opened the letter to try and figure out what the hell is going on. Anyway, interesting story. Next time I come across a blind mailman, I'll definitely think twice about helping him.

Great Work!
Very intriguing story. You painted the man in the hospital so well that I could not only see him, but became him. I loved it, from beginning to end. It certainly fired up my imagination. Undoubtedly, it is experiences that serve to shape us. It may very well be the case that you are not far from the meaning of life with this story. Luckily, we don't have to wait until we die to be immersed in a different world altogether. It is stories like this that enable us to experience worlds outside of our own. So, I thank you for this experience. Keep it up.

Eastern philosophy advocates detachment from things and people in order to attain happiness. I, on the other hand think that attachment is very necessary to experience both happiness and suffering and to ultimately grow as a human being. He lost an important part of his human nature, am I close?
