About Myself: My writings began as short little stories. But then I began to experiment my writing style into the world of poems. And ever since then I haven't been able to stop writing poems. For me, poems are more fun to write and they are alot more challenging.

I basically write about anything that seems relevant to me at the time. Most of my poetry is about me in a way. Every thought that I include in my poems is usually a thought I personally feel or have felt in the past.

I really do not write anything on the mellow or happy side. So, if you're a person who likes things to be upbeat and sugarcoated....then nothing I write is for you. And if you don't like what I write then feel free to leave a constructive comment displaying on what needs some repair, but if you are going to just desecrate my work then just save me the time and don't comment. Because most importantly, I don't write these poems to later see who thinks I did a good job or who thinks I fucked up. I write them for myself.

What a day may bring, a day may take away. -Thomas Fuller

Title article: THE TEMPEST OF SISTER JAMES.
Date: 2008-11-13 18:50:14

good story. i like the viewpoint you write from, similiar to the last story i read from you. and your repetition of certain thoughts really stands out and helps move along the importance of what this character is thinking. sad she had to pass at the end...but it was almost a relief..at least for her, finally she could rest her mind for good.

Title article: Permanent
Date: 2008-11-13 18:32:00

i did enjoy this..and the ending wasn't all that surprising but i did like the mother's statement as yellowcat said.
but i can sympathize with Nick...i can't imagine the pain i would feel if i were to lose my girlfriend...and i can't honestly say i would discard suicide if she were to leave.

Title article: Belle Reve, Chapter 2
Date: 2008-11-13 18:24:15

i guess you could just still be breaking in the setting and tone here....but i felt like there was too little in this chapter...and it didn't entertain me as the first.
but i surely won't give up on the story...i know you have talent.

Title article: Scene of the Setting Sun
Date: 2008-11-13 18:20:11

i did like the descriptions that were here..your writing style is good...but i felt like there was missing pieces. i felt like this wasn't quite strong enough to solidly portray its meaning.

Title article: The Strength in me
Date: 2008-11-12 15:16:33

i thought this was a very nice piece. the font choice was a nice idea too....made you realize you were reading past actions, past thoughts. but i like your writing, it is clear and gripping and you also know how to be descriptive. and i do agree with Terry, this was moving. nothing better to give you strength than the ones that you hold closest to your heart.
even the enemy cannot take that away from you.

Title article: Midnight
Date: 2008-11-12 14:59:28

i think you did a nice job keeping the erotica approach contained to a nice level...not overflowing to the point of just crude writing. and the flow was smooth all the way through.

Title article: LAST NIGHT YOU DREAMED SOMEBODY LOVED YOU.
Date: 2008-11-11 19:00:12

wow a really great story here, Terry!! i enjoyed every line, it was so entertaining and interesting to read. i liked how you depicted every character, they did feel very realistic.
and the point of view from the female was nice.....and although the ending was sad i couldn't have picked a better way to end this.

Title article: Nightmare
Date: 2008-11-11 18:13:01

quite a nightmare!! it would be truly terrifying to see your own skin just peel off as if it was nothing. but as the others have stated, there wasn't much to this...but i'm sure you could turn this into a great horrifying piece.

Title article: Behind The Sun
Date: 2008-11-10 20:12:46

well first, i appreciate your feedback. It's cool to see someone enjoy my poem when poems aren't something they are usually attracted to.
But anyway, basically this originated from the basic cycle of night and day that we experience daily through our lives...i just went with that "cycle" idea and this is what came of it. as for the cyle bothering me...well, it is something impossible for me to change so i've learned to just deal with it obviously. but as for your other question...yes, personally i do enjoy the night better than the day. i think it's more surreal and beautiful at night that it could ever be in the hazy sunlight.

Title article: The Elders Gods
Date: 2008-11-05 16:39:03

i wish this would happen for some tribes scattered across this brutal world...really gets you down when you hear about people becoming extinct.....and then the worst news of all....because of loggers.
just a sad thing.

Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): yea i know....i haven't been able to write anything recently...my mind is kinda bogged down at the moment. but i am trying to put some more pieces together. right now they are all incomplete, but i'll finish them up. i keep wanting to post things but then end up deleting them because i think they're shit.

Of course we get along A couple of those last poems were from awhile ago, but yeah, I definitely have the darker side in me that I don't let come out and play that often. I've got a few more up my sleeve that I'm debating whether or not to post. I LOVE your stuff though. You have no problem just putting your emotions out there.

Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): really?? well that's great news. i was getting very irritated with the many annoying personalities she had.

You better, or I'll have to create a second profile and bash all of your existing poems because I'm cool and not a loser. Ha!
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): haha yea i know i feel left out on the whole multiple profile thing. but i guess i'll just be lame and stay with one.

You are too kind (heh).

I like your poetry, now that I've delved into it a little bit more; it's so thought-provoking; it's excellent, really!

Cell... I like it because of how intricate all of the words used to describe a cell's composition are... if that makes any sense, at all (???). And your screen name (resistanceisfreedom) tells me you have idealistic views, and are in many senses a liberal... that is very cool.

Many happinesses!

Yo.
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): hmmm interesting. i never thought of cell that way. thank you for your appreciation for my poems! i'm glad you enjoy them. yes, i do have idealistic views for sure. i'm glad you can accept me for that. Much happiness right back!
