About Myself: My writings began as short little stories. But then I began to experiment my writing style into the world of poems. And ever since then I haven't been able to stop writing poems. For me poems are more fun to write and they are alot more challenging.

I basically write about anything that seems relevant to me at the time. Most of my poetry is about me in a way. Every thought that I include in my poems is usually a thought I personally feel or have felt in the past.

Lastly, I really do not write anything on the mellow or happy side. Almost everything I write could be associated with depression or sadness. So, if you're a person who likes things to be upbeat and sugarcoated....then nothing I write is for you. And if you don't like what I write just save me the time and don't comment. Because most importantly, I don't write these poems to later see who thinks I did a good job or who thinks I fucked up. I write them for myself.

Also if you're like me in any way as far as disliking the world we live in as of now then take a look at some of these websites......

oh by the way...the above comment was written by me just so you know....

Title article: I just wanna move on!
Date: 2008-08-29 19:35:54

the raw emotion in this was hard to ignore....but as for the poem itself....i just didn't care for it....in my opinion, it was a very weak poem...but maybe i don't have a heart, i don't know.
but before i go, i had to point out that your picture fit extremely well with the piece. so good job on the pic.

your rhyming was maintained well throughout.....but this topic was just uninteresting to me...and i didn't really find the humor.

Title article: Upheaval and Restoration

i don't think i have ever read anything that was about one specific animal, a sloth no less....but i really enjoyed the story and you did such a wonderful job describing the sloth's surroundings that i felt like i was there. and by the end, i was sad to see her get washed away.

Title article: A Lover's Garden

very nice poem, Amie. i like how you threw the line in about the wasps....it really strengthened the whole garden environment you had going on here. and of course, it was beautiful as well haha.

Title article: MARY'S MIXED MEDITATIONS.
Date: 2008-08-29 19:16:39

i really was drawn into this character very quickly. you did such a good job describing her and her emotions. and like Harmattan said, the crucified jesus hanging on the wall was a nice touch. i found this really depressing, but it was well worth the read.

very cool story....it was well written and held my interest from first line to last.

well, i guess i'll just say that i enjoyed it. thought it was a great way to convey your message.

Title article: gone

i liked everything about this. but i especially liked the ending....it was a very nice way to end the piece. well done!

Title article: My Stomach and I
Date: 2008-08-29 18:45:56

first off, it was nice reading a poem about something different for a change. For how long this was you really did a pretty good job keeping the flow and its appeal. i've never really had a problem getting along with my stomach, but after reading this i can now realize how much of a struggle it can be.

Of course we get along A couple of those last poems were from awhile ago, but yeah, I definitely have the darker side in me that I don't let come out and play that often. I've got a few more up my sleeve that I'm debating whether or not to post. I LOVE your stuff though. You have no problem just putting your emotions out there.

Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): really?? well that's great news. i was getting very irritated with the many annoying personalities she had.

You better, or I'll have to create a second profile and bash all of your existing poems because I'm cool and not a loser. Ha!
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): haha yea i know i feel left out on the whole multiple profile thing. but i guess i'll just be lame and stay with one.

You are too kind (heh).

I like your poetry, now that I've delved into it a little bit more; it's so thought-provoking; it's excellent, really!

Cell... I like it because of how intricate all of the words used to describe a cell's composition are... if that makes any sense, at all (???). And your screen name (resistanceisfreedom) tells me you have idealistic views, and are in many senses a liberal... that is very cool.

Many happinesses!

Yo.
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): hmmm interesting. i never thought of cell that way. thank you for your appreciation for my poems! i'm glad you enjoy them. yes, i do have idealistic views for sure. i'm glad you can accept me for that. Much happiness right back!
