About Myself: My writings began as short little stories. But then I began to experiment my writing style into the world of poems. And ever since then I haven't been able to stop writing poems. For me, poems are more fun to write and they are alot more challenging.

I basically write about anything that seems relevant to me at the time. Most of my poetry is about me in a way. Every thought that I include in my poems is usually a thought I personally feel or have felt in the past.

I really do not write anything on the mellow or happy side. So, if you're a person who likes things to be upbeat and sugarcoated....then nothing I write is for you. And if you don't like what I write just save me the time and don't comment. Because most importantly, I don't write these poems to later see who thinks I did a good job or who thinks I fucked up. I write them for myself.

Lastly, some of my poems might even offend you because of the subjects i oppose within them. I personally feel like this country is going in the complete opposite direction of what is right...and I won't call myself an American anymore. I will not be accused for what this country does to itself. And I am surely not proud, and won't protect a flag that stands for nothing it foolishly preaches. Ending on that note, I'll leave you with a couple of quotes from some famous writers.

A wind has blown the rain away and blown the sky away, and the trees stand. I think, too, have known autumn too long. - E.E. Cummings

We loved with a love that was more than love. -Poe

And nothing to look backward to with pride, and nothing to look forward to with hope. -Robert Frost

If society fits you comfortably enough, you call it freedom. -Robert Frost

Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby.
-Langston Hughes

Life is just a series of trying to make up your mind. -Timothy Fuller

Unhappiness is not knowing what we want and killing ourselves to get it.
-Don Herold

No love, no friendship can cross the path of our destiny without leaving some mark on it forever. -Francois

What a day may bring, a day may take away. -Thomas Fuller

i did enjoy this all the way through. you did a great job keeping the story entertaining...you didn't let it trail off into a bore. and luke i thought, was very well portrayed for the slime that he was. i'm glad he got what he deserved in the end.
good story.

well i do like your imagination and i do think this story that you have in your mind could be a good one....but as it is written currently...i didn't really like it. it seemed rushed and there wasn't enough of a story.

Title article: Only Moments and Hours
Date: 2008-10-13 16:26:09

i thought this was very well done. you painted pictures of distant memories in a very elegant and interesting way.

Title article: Dyslexia
Date: 2008-10-13 16:23:32

yes, frustration and hate against the laughing masses was very evident here and i think you did a great job with describing it.
and i like how you kept the whole "normal" thing throughout the piece...in my opinion, there is no such thing as normal. like allmine said, we are all unique in our own ways.

Title article: My Day At Work
Date: 2008-10-13 16:14:25

i guess you did want to make this dull because of the job itself being dull...but this was just painfully boring to read....although i have to say, you described your job in the most unique of ways.

Title article: moneyed faces
Date: 2008-10-13 16:11:10

i really enjoyed the last stanza and the last line was perfect...but i felt like the other stanzas were weaker. they didn't hold as much emotion for me.

Title article: VESPERS 1967.

so many thoughts being recalled here. i found it interesting. the overall feel of this was nice too.

Title article: When I Think of You
Date: 2008-10-12 20:45:17

yea....i liked this one. very cool poem. i could feel the drenching, sad tone that you so effectively conveyed and the last line was the perfect closer..and the red font was a nice touch as well.

Title article: A Simple Misunderstanding
Date: 2008-10-12 17:54:40

i thought this was good. although in my opinion, everything went a little too fast. i think this could have been better if you would have stretched it out.

Title article: It's a Matter of Importance

yea Yellowcat has a point...i had forgotten that while i read it but that part didn't make sense...she thought he was just using her.....but then she goes and makes herself available anyway??
unless she just couldn not control her urge..i don't know.

You got some more kickass poems up in that strange noggin of yours? Cough 'em up, I need my fix. Hurry ... I'm ... jonesing ... like ... a ... smiley face
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): yea i know....i haven't been able to write anything recently...my mind is kinda bogged down at the moment. but i am trying to put some more pieces together. right now they are all incomplete, but i'll finish them up. i keep wanting to post things but then end up deleting them because i think they're shit.

Of course we get along A couple of those last poems were from awhile ago, but yeah, I definitely have the darker side in me that I don't let come out and play that often. I've got a few more up my sleeve that I'm debating whether or not to post. I LOVE your stuff though. You have no problem just putting your emotions out there.

Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): really?? well that's great news. i was getting very irritated with the many annoying personalities she had.

You better, or I'll have to create a second profile and bash all of your existing poems because I'm cool and not a loser. Ha!
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): haha yea i know i feel left out on the whole multiple profile thing. but i guess i'll just be lame and stay with one.

Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): Haha well i guess that's a good thing, right?

You are too kind (heh).

I like your poetry, now that I've delved into it a little bit more; it's so thought-provoking; it's excellent, really!

Cell... I like it because of how intricate all of the words used to describe a cell's composition are... if that makes any sense, at all (???). And your screen name (resistanceisfreedom) tells me you have idealistic views, and are in many senses a liberal... that is very cool.

Many happinesses!

Yo.
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): hmmm interesting. i never thought of cell that way. thank you for your appreciation for my poems! i'm glad you enjoy them. yes, i do have idealistic views for sure. i'm glad you can accept me for that. Much happiness right back!
