About Myself:

My writings began as short little stories. But then I began to experiment my writing style into the world of poems. And ever since then I haven't been able to stop writing poems. For me poems are more fun to write and they are alot more challenging.

I basically write about anything that seems relevant to me at the time. Most of my poetry is about me in a way. Every thought that I include in my poems is usually a thought I personally feel or have felt in the past.

Lastly, I really do not write anything on the mellow or happy side. Almost everything I write could be associated with depression or sadness. So, if you're a person who likes things to be upbeat and sugarcoated....then nothing I write is for you. And if you don't like what I write just save me the time and don't comment. Because most importantly, I don't write these poems to later see who thinks I did a good job or who thinks I fucked up. I write them for myself.

the line that appealed to me was, "the face you present to me is only a shield."

wow......this was a great piece!!
i really enjoyed this one. everything about it was just right on...i liked the description of the clouds you gave at beginning and end, the way you described Mary, and the disrespect towards the Nuns was great too.
hmmm i was wondering Terry, perhaps you could write a second part to this??? it would be greatly enjoyed if you did.

this was just way too fast....it ended so abruptly. i think this could be so much better if you stretched it out. go a little bit more into detail with it.
i mean what you have here shows that you have a pretty good story...but i feel that there needs to be more.

of course i really enjoyed the fact that you created an image of a lighthouse out of text....but i felt like the poem itself was a bit weak. it was good don't get me wrong....but i think the image blocks out the poem.

i thought the flow was pretty good...it seemed to get better as the poem went on. as for the whole poem, i thought it was good, not great, but good. oh, and unlike the others i won't desecrate your opinion concerning jesus. you are entitled to say what you truly feel.
