About Myself: My writings began as short little stories. But then I began to experiment my writing style into the world of poems. And ever since then I haven't been able to stop writing poems. For me, poems are more fun to write and they are alot more challenging.

I basically write about anything that seems relevant to me at the time. Most of my poetry is about me in a way. Every thought that I include in my poems is usually a thought I personally feel or have felt in the past.

I really do not write anything on the mellow or happy side. So, if you're a person who likes things to be upbeat and sugarcoated....then nothing I write is for you. And if you don't like what I write just save me the time and don't comment. Because most importantly, I don't write these poems to later see who thinks I did a good job or who thinks I fucked up. I write them for myself.

Lastly, some of my poems might even offend you because of the subjects i oppose within them. I personally feel like this country is going in the complete opposite direction of what is right...and I won't call myself an American anymore. I will not be accused for what this country does to itself. And I am surely not proud, and won't protect a flag that stands for nothing it foolishly preaches. Ending on that note, I'll leave you with a poem by one of my favorite poets, Saul Williams.

They say that I am a poet.
I wonder what they would say
If they saw me
From the inside.
I bottle emotions
And place them into the sea
For others to unbottle
On distant shores
I am unsure as to whether
They ever reach and for that matter
As to whether
I ever get my point across
Or my love

-From a true poet, Saul Williams

Title article: The train that forgets to stop at every station
Date: 2008-10-07 18:38:30

yea i commend you on portraying this alcohol addict. i think you did a good job jotting down his thoughts....you made them entertaining to read. and yea, i think it was easy to pick up this person was young and still in school. hopefully this is just fiction, but then again i know my fair share of drug addicts in my own school so it's not impossible for this to be true.

Title article: A Dreamy Morning
Date: 2008-10-07 18:32:14

i have the same opinion on the length as hodders....but wow, i did really like this one...at first, i thought it was going to be this feel good poem about everything beautiful and bright..but it turned out to be different than that. it was living in now..forgetting about all the aspects of life and just being.....which could be such a great thing to feel...but the ending was what i enjoyed most where you pointed out that the description is not the described. very creative and enticing.

Title article: Internet Love
Date: 2008-10-07 18:22:04

i enjoyed this read. even though it didn't have a distinct rhyme to it, i still pulled out a nice easy flow that moved along the lines. and the story it told was interesting as well....but, maybe it could have worked..if the both of you would have portrayed your true self on the web, rather than only showing some truth to the person you were or distorting it. if you distort who you are in a relationship, how do you really expect it to work??

Title article: An Affair With Darkness
Date: 2008-10-07 18:14:30

i liked this. it was a different kind of story than i expected from the title, but i enjoyed it all the same. you write extremely well and this was a pleasure to read.

Title article: Down Time
Date: 2008-10-06 18:42:28

okay...well i see.
but to be honest...i still don't care for that being the last line. i mean yea i get it now...and i know just as well what this down time means...i just didn't call it that myself when i went through it...but i still don't care for the line.
but hey, it's just my opinion.

Title article: The Photograph
Date: 2008-10-06 18:10:01

i thought it was pretty good.
i wasn't blown away by it...but it was good.
i think it held an emotion that alot of us have or will experience in our lifetime.

Title article: DIDN'T KNOW THEN.
Date: 2008-10-06 18:06:06

this was...wow, i am just blown away by this one Terry. i mean all your poems are simply magnificent, but this one really stood out to me. it held that unique flow you always manage to contain every once in a while in your poems. very good. a favorite!

Title article: Golden Night
Date: 2008-10-06 17:43:36

it is quite interesting to see what you write next...your poems are always crafted so well and have the greatest flow.
this one was very good...this has to be one of my favorites that i have read of yours so far.
i liked the feel of it.

Title article: If Only
Date: 2008-10-06 16:05:41

i thought it was a very accurate presentation of the theme covered...but i didn't like how you ended with the same words on some occasions...but overall, it was good.

Title article: Fly beyond the boundaries
Date: 2008-10-06 16:02:02

i did like this don't get me wrong...the simpleness to it was good and i easily interpreted the message...but here and there the flow seemed to stop and i found myself backing up and starting again.

You got some more kickass poems up in that strange noggin of yours? Cough 'em up, I need my fix. Hurry ... I'm ... jonesing ... like ... a ... smiley face
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): yea i know....i haven't been able to write anything recently...my mind is kinda bogged down at the moment. but i am trying to put some more pieces together. right now they are all incomplete, but i'll finish them up. i keep wanting to post things but then end up deleting them because i think they're shit.

Of course we get along A couple of those last poems were from awhile ago, but yeah, I definitely have the darker side in me that I don't let come out and play that often. I've got a few more up my sleeve that I'm debating whether or not to post. I LOVE your stuff though. You have no problem just putting your emotions out there.

Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): really?? well that's great news. i was getting very irritated with the many annoying personalities she had.

You better, or I'll have to create a second profile and bash all of your existing poems because I'm cool and not a loser. Ha!
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): haha yea i know i feel left out on the whole multiple profile thing. but i guess i'll just be lame and stay with one.

You are too kind (heh).

I like your poetry, now that I've delved into it a little bit more; it's so thought-provoking; it's excellent, really!

Cell... I like it because of how intricate all of the words used to describe a cell's composition are... if that makes any sense, at all (???). And your screen name (resistanceisfreedom) tells me you have idealistic views, and are in many senses a liberal... that is very cool.

Many happinesses!

Yo.
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): hmmm interesting. i never thought of cell that way. thank you for your appreciation for my poems! i'm glad you enjoy them. yes, i do have idealistic views for sure. i'm glad you can accept me for that. Much happiness right back!
