What a fabulous story, so well written. I can only begin to imagine the pain and anguish that poor woman is going through. No one deserves to be beaten, no one deserves to be treated that way. I am in awe of this story...it was fabulous

This is good. Some of the flow was a little off for me, but it isn't bad at all. I lvoe the first stanza how you describe the way the days flow on without him, colorless...etc etc....

Yeah who and what is normal? Am I normal? I hardly doubt it. The fact is we are all unique. I loved the rage you captured with your words. Brings home the point that just because he has difficulting spelling doesn't mean he is any less of a human being...or has any less of a brilliant mind...

I didn't like this one as much as I like Kin's story. I dunno, I think we should know what he does without necessarily needing the technical aspect. If that makes any sense. We also need to feel more how he has become a recluse.....

It is a good start. To what, we'll have to find out. For some reason, and I may be totally wrong, I get the feeling of vampirism. The club that they belong, the beautiful young people, the noise, the way he views light...maybe I am crazy (don't answer that!) but that's what I see...am I right?

I tried to comment on this yesterday but the server wouldn't let me log on....this is a great story, but I think where she runs away from him and he takes off after her is a bit un-needed. She simply would have had to bat her eyelashes and give him a come hither look....he would have followed her like a puppy dog...

There's no reason to change the title. It's sad what society does to young women (or old women for that matter), making us believe that we will never be perfect. For the record, I look like Barbie, just Barbie with a spare tire..and brown hair, and dull eyes, and....well maybe I don't look like her...hahahaha. Great twisted dark poem
