Momma's got problems, but this story is very good. The exchange between them was believable and a head scratcher in wondering how such an exchange can take place.

Loved it, want more.
I think I recognized this in the promt thread last week, but if i didn't, re-reading it I want to know what happensa next? The promise of something new does not mean it will be, as promises are broken as often as wind.

Nuts
A great story, one that can't be told enough. An excellent job brining the experience down a single soldiers level. Our soldiers go to way and we tale for granted that they don't just fight, but there is gobs of down time which can eat at them as bad as the fighting. I can only imagine some flour cakes helped emmensely to bridge the spans of time between combat action and utlimately victory. Nice write.

How dare she...
First paragraph had me grab my coat; being frigid and all :-)

And then you set this girl he recalling up to be amazing, but what perked my interest here was the sentence, "was destined to change the world." My question then was, whose world? Just his, or really the whole world? That sentence is what I really wanted answered in reading onward.

As I went on my opinion of this guy formed to be one of what a lush, had he never been in love before? Was he real young, was this puppy love?? But he spoke of someone older, so again I wanted to shake him and wake him up as he seemed to fixated on his online find whom he referenced as a god. To ever consider a girl friend or more even a god, oh my. But who am I to judge...

And then the ending, what a lonely dude. How dare she crush him so; what kind of god was she? Cruel indeed!

Hey, great short work here, thanks!

Definite good work... Stories where god speaks/acts can be boring because well, god is god and can do anything right. So when you have god act less god like it is a treat.

Don't know if you write any, but I catch your comments around on other people stories and they're usually pretty good.
I'd like to see a story or something of yours.
Feedback from Patrick O. (Roadkill315): HI, thanks for the note in my guestbook, I have recently posted a couple of stories, would love your review. Thanks
